I have already proven that the M4a1 does not give you any advantages over other people in the server that use the default Assault Rifle.

infernus got a problem with my person. He said highly offending words in servers to me, where I was not even saying one single word before. (and afterwards.. I'm not joining kindergarden)
I never talk with him so I don't know where thats from.

who cares what infernus thinks; also, who cares what dead999 thinks. who cares? I don't. I bet you don't care what I think either.
Infernus says alot of immature things all the time, thats nothing new. judging by what dead999 posted, proves he is no different than infernus.
If there is no difference between animation lengths, especially the reload animation. then there should not be a problem. This has been debated a million times. anyone who thinks otherwise obviously is close-minded and probably doesn't posses the brain capacity to discuss this matter in a proper civilized manner from a nutreal point of view.
Also judging from what you posted REDFROG, you seem to care too much about the words that come from an immature 15 year old. I tihnk it's better to ignore the troublemaking children.  |

I just think it's wrong to have a review system which is moderated by staff which obviously accepted a misleading review.
Dunno...just thought it was unfair.
Now that you say it, why should I care..

I'd have to say that I'm surprised it was considered an acceptable review, it's just an insuation, not backed up by any comments or facts.
Then again, do we have to hear about a squabble you're having with someone in a server. Why not just leave it in the server? |

I honestly don't consider it a cheat because of the animation lengths, but the minute I hear someone say "I do better with this" or "I need this weapon now" it means that (if they are telling the truth) it is a cheat. |

I DO better with it. (but I also do better with any other weapon I have created, just for the fact that I'm bored with RFs default weapons.)

The (especially silenced one) sound is to my taste. Good powerful and comprehensible sounds are important to me 
if you say when you hear someone say "I do better with this" and you call them cheaters, then every HUD, reticle, anything is a cheat, according to what you said.
I really don't care if the people use different reticles (HUDs) or weapon models. I mean... I bet at least 80% of the players are doing this.
You still get the same player velocity, weapon damage and overall same visuals in the map. |

So you do agree that modified reticles are also not allowed in your so called "competitve matches".
Also you must have forgotten to answer my question. Or can't you simply answer it?

No, it's not.
It would not only have been better, it is the only way to create a constructive review.
If I'd go ahead and call any file I can find a cheat, but find it neat, I shall get TU'd without hesitance.
Also, there is no line saying "This is a dead999-competitive compatible file"
It is free for official use in any server and absolutely not detected as a cheat.
The competitive server MAKE THE RULES. This site is not meant for these rules.
I'd say the guys who play with hidden weapon models are cheating. Because... I can't play it that way, therefore I'm in disadvantage. I just don't want to play with hidden weapons. lol But I can use custom ones, so they can, too. But maybe they don't want to?

I'm going to have to agree. While it is ok to use custom huds and weapons in normal pub play, etc, it is not OK to use it during competitive matches.
eg: leagues, clan wars, ladders, etc.
Besides, if you sign up for any of those they probably lay down the rules anyway. so if someone breaks the rules while on a competitive match its nobody elses fault but their own for using modified content anyway. It's common sense.

I agree. I don't care about people using these petty mods in public servers, since more than half of pub players are cheating blatently anyway. Since no publics are running Pure now (well popular ones anyway), it's not even worth complaining. Competitive servers however, ARE running Pure. Any modifcations whatsoever could be considered cheats in competition, easily. Hell, even Vista could be considered cheating due to speed bugging |

I would love to know how you obtained this stat. You must spend a large part of your life browsing the public servers and keeping these wonderful stats on every player out there, in order to make this bold statement.

I accepted the review. A review is a personal opinion, if you don't like the reviews of others, don't upload your material, it's that simple. That is an acceptable review because it was HIS opinion, no matter how lame it was or was not. |

The purpose of a review is to help the author improve upon whatever he published. simple posts like "this sucks" or "how do you use this" or something stupid does not help.
There is major differences that seperate an intelligent review from the rest. Most reviews are simple reviews that don't help; and usually don't contain anything other than a simple unproductive positive comment. Mostly everyone on this site, including me, are guilty of this. but this is ok because it lets the author know they made something somebody likes.
But there are other reviews are worse, the reviews that say "this sucks," "it doesn't work for me," "i don't like it," "this is stupid." etc. These reviews serve no useful purpose at all, they only agitate the author instead of helping like they are supposed to. Looking at these reviews from the eyes of various points of view is obviously bound to cause a problem sooner or later.
These reviews are useless and should be removed. If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all. Plus it is disrespectful. Something a large portion of the users of this site don't understand; the meaning of respect.
In order to understand this you have to look at it from multiple points of view. Also, alot of people don't think this way, which is why so many stupid reviews get posted.
Intelligent reviews are reviews can be positive or negative, or neither, but at least they contain constructive criticism including (not always): pros, cons, etc. there are too few of these. But this is what most authors who aim to self-improving are looking for. I think the review system standard should be raised to this level. As it stands now, any piece of mediocre garbage can pass for a review and this is stressful and not doing as much good as its supposed to. |
