Many of us have wondered - Why was that post deleted? or Why was that topic edited?
I will tell you why.
In the cause of civil discourse.
This site is not run by the United Nations under a special International Free Speech Charter. It is run by individuals who are increasingly weary of insulting and unconstructive dialog. The mission of L4Y is to provide files and not to provide a wrestling ring for blood thirsty egos.
From now on, before you post, please take a moment to check yourself. Are you angry? Are you seeking to vilify someone? Furthermore, how will your post be understood or potentially misunderstood?
From now on, anything that happens outside of L4Y - stays outside L4Y. Keep it in the game servers or your MSN IM - not another 20 hate filled topics here. I have stood back this past season, hoping that folks would be able to resolve their differences. Unfortunately the divides have magnified. (Really dissappointing.)
To ensure that there is no hypocrisy on my part - I will not restart the L4Y RF server. Consider it dead.

yeah. Censorship is killing Red Faction (most usual insult on this forum)
PS: Hillary Clinton is killing Red Faction!!! (yes. It works too!!!!)

I don't know why but this is probably the best way to do it.
HOOHAA (sorry for mispelling) has been hacked/crashed, too
Why bother keep running and going through heavy trouble and time waste when there is a community that doesn't care about it.
I have tryed to open the eyes of the people here. It failed. You shall see what you get for not being active. Or you can just hope for these person which try to destroy RF will get bored in their doing. |

It may sound like hapa hanu has her periods. But it ain't so.
For a long long time, pressure has been raising in Happa hanu's mind. People were bashing each other and complaining about pure faction or other things and happa was fighting with himself
"I must refrain from censoring" he said to himself. Then he sudenly blew up. "Enough is enough. levels4you needs me to be strong. Users need a new regime to save them from those useless feuds. They are... hummm. well.. well... killing red faction. Let's shut my server again and make a noisy statement .
From now on, l4y users will have to talk only about happyness and carebears.
No talk about RF or other games" |

these kind of problems arent new to L4Y, they are just now overshadowing all others due to the fact that so few people still frequent the forums here.
iv been an infrequent member here at L4Y since 03 and really have not contributed much to the forums because of these type of issues.(< points to post count)
i learned the true nature of these forums very early on. though i do enjoy the occasion discussion here, its not worth my time to get involved in any of the "disputes."
im here to make maps, encourage others and have fun in the process.  |

molodiets, you insult me again - why? and for what? Consider where the arguements have gone - nowhere. No resolution, no meeting of the middle ground and all my recommendations ignored both public and private. Is this the beginning of a new regime? Nope. I have been open this entire time, fielding questions and concerns both in public and private.

The honest truth is, I have not been deleting or editing posts for quite a while nor have I closed any topics. Just like I did not close this topic. In fact I wanted to leave this topic open, with the hopeful intention that members would come forward and share their perspectives. Give everyone a chance. Not that we have to hold hands around the campfire but realize that if you want something - you are going to have to work with other people to get it.
I am going to level with each and every one of you. Red Faction will be played even if no one visits l4y or uses Pure.
If you don't appreciate my open approach - then leave. |

Why don't you just let them argue. It brings them back on the forum again and again and give a little occupation in their miserable lives. Who cares. If one day they find another occupation rather than browsing the forum again and again to reply to an accusation or boast, then those arguements will stop. If the arguements carry on, it's because those who participate in it, enjoy it |
