Frog you can fight this war until the world ends, It's not going to change it.
You have shown in this video you glitching (cheating). Whether or not you acually do the reload at one point or another doesn't matter. You can rail, then start shooting. The rail is already overpowered enough - That would push it over the edge.
To sum up - Frog thinks that a cheat should be left in Pure. |

That is still in pure, unless it's changed in PF3. When I used PFBeta1 and PFBeta2 it was still doable. |

You do not avoid the reload of the railgun  You still have to reload it and CAN'T use it before you do.
Advantage for the Railgun...take a look at the Sniper rifle, if some of the RF noobs would actually be able to aim then you would notice that the Sniper rifle can even be more powerful.
Now its the Railgun, not the hmg anymore, huh? This community is filled with noobs. You always search for excuses to get rid of the things that can kill you easy and aren't able to use yourself.
Actually, when I was able to pick up my enemy with a tricky shot he's going to say "ns" = nice shot, but absolutely not "YOU NOOB, RAILGUN IS ADVANTAGE!!!11"
Everybody can switch weapons before the reload.
Everybody can use the railgun.
I do not see any advantages there. |

sigh... Frog you do not understand, And why are you using your old acount?
I'm not saying anything as stupid as "OMG RAILGUN NOOBZ" or anything like that, but i AM saying that being able to rail, then switch to another weapon and begin shooting takes away the disadvantage you get from railing. When railing, You have to know you get one shot, then a long enough reload for a good player to kill you. It's kind of like a gamble... Risk being vunerable through a long reload for the chance at an instant kill.
Bottom line is, Skipping rail reloads (Yes, I said skipping. It doesn't matter when you do them, You're skipping them when you're supposed to do them) will NEVER be allowed in Pure Faction.
You need to get used to playing without glitching. |

I understand that everybody have the same tools in hand to fight, but it's a glitch, RF wasn't design with this kind of tricky timing in mind to switch weapon. I wanted personnaly to have the possibility to cancel reload to change weapon for tactic purpose, but when switch back, player need to reload is empty gun. I think this way is better, but sadly RF was not follow this concept, Pure Faction will probably stay with the "force reload".

Do you refer to Pure Faction or the Railgun?
Because if you mean the railgun, I would consider it a weapon that would still be used. The only difference is that it will be used as intended: Everything or nothing, accepting the possibility of missing and dealing with the consequences as they hurtle towards your avatar at high speed!

I Mean forcing people to play in a way. it isnt a cheat. so i shouldnt be blocked. i dont think when i have a railgun and a Shoulder cannon when i shoot it i first want to reload before using my other weapon. i just mean IRL you wont reload if you dont want to. Not that RF is a very realistic game but still. |
