My system (see L4Y profile) is suitable for every game I play today. Sure, I might not be trying to run the latest games, but I can run UT2004 at full quality with roughly 100fps, and I can run Gmod at very good quality with 150fps. Keep in mind that running DX10 also requires that you be running Windows Vista which, if you've payed any attention to previous topics, you'd know it has its fair share of problems. My YouTube     Zman1764   Posted 28th Oct 2007 4:59am L4Y Member Post 24 / 31 well guys I changed some of my options. its just a matter of time until I have the money to buy the rest of the parts, as i had car issues and had to save 2500 bucks to buy a new car. Anyways, on top of the stuff I bought, I'll be getting: an Asus P5K-E Motherboard, and then upgrading the cooling later. Intel Dual Core E2180 Processor, which will have the Cooler Master Hyper TX 2 on it and then will be overclocked to like 2.8 ghz or whatever i can get it to. So i'll have sick performance for like, basically 250 bucks for those 2 parts together. The money i'm saving by buying the Asus and the cheap processor will leave me 150 bucks or more for a video card! So at that point I'll probably buy something like an X1900 Pro or something.
