A highlight from my travels in Cyrodill:
I was wandering around in the lush forest, when I stumbled upon the semi-ruined town of Hackdirt. I walked into the inn since barkeeps are the best people for information, and I was promptly told I should leave. Upset with the barkeep, I decided I'd rather steal anything I could, I was only slightly irritated by the man's presence until I went upstairs. One of the rooms was completely wrecked, I immediatelly realized there was a struggle recently and the diary I discovered only supported this conclusion. The diary's last entry was a young female Argonian's thoughts on the town's creepiness and a vivid description on how the scumbag barkeep was giving her "strange looks".
Irate with my discovery, I rushed downstairs and instead of asking the man behind the counter for an explanation, I gutted him. But to my surprise, we apparently weren't alone. A thug approached me from behind and began carving into my flesh. I made sure he suffered. I promptly left the bar on the hunt for more blood. Any of the other backwoods hillbillies who got in my way also felt the sting of my sword entering their chests. I searched the houses and in each of them there were trapdoors into the caverns below. After a little bit of healing, I courageously descended into the town's dark heart.
I snuck around the caverns, searching for any sign of the missing Argonian girl, but instead found a small legion of inbred hicks. Using a combination of swift jumping skills and well-timed and placed blows to their heads, the rednecks all collapsed into a bloody mass of human flesh. None of them had anything of value so most of my fighting had been for nothing, until I spied a crude cage tucked away, out of sight. I approached cautiously but was pleased to find the Argonian woman, alive and well. We left the caves and immediatelly began running towards the nearest city, the battle cries and shouts of the inbred brethren echoing off the forest walls and slowly fading as the town began to once again fall out of my sights and back into the darkness of overgrowth and heavy vegetation. |

A highlight from my travels in Cyrodill:
Escape the sewers and walk around for about an hour, kicking crab and wolf CENSORED as I go.
Traverse the occasional dungeon, kicking skeleton and zombie CENSORED as I go.
Walk to Waymon Pryory (sp), kicking bandit CENSORED as I go.
Walk through an Oblivion gate, get my CENSORED kicked by a Daedra.

After the unholy beatdown I received in the Oblivion gate (which I finally closed barely) I think It would be wise to explore and level up some more. Also, that summary was sprinkled throughout a fair amount of wandering, which is really fun to do. |

By cold, do you mean evil? Because my character is a Nord and has a frost resistance. Also, how would I tell if my character was "cold" enough? |

Yesterday wasnt bad, I could sit out side and not see my breath in the air! good old damp and cold England!
The annoying fact is that I had to sit out side because apparently im nto allowed to get the fast train to hemel hempstead, change train and go one stop back to where i live. (distance 1.5miles) He wanted to charge me a £20 penalty fair. wouldnt even let me pay for the extra ticket from my station to hemel. I wasnt even going to leave the station. So I had to get off a few stops before and wait 30 mins for the other train. Who gives a crap about a £2 train fair at 11:30pm on a sunday evening.
All I can say, is the guy was the embodiment of Arnold Rimmer. I wanted a big fat marker pen so i could write H on his forehead! |
