This is what I was trying to explain to LunaTick, not possible by simply changing textures. Targa'd images of 60% transparency, etc. will NOT make the walls on ANY default map transparent. You need to open the map in RED and set the brush you want to see through as "Detail", THEN it works. Otherwise, no. I personally don't believe in a wallhack been made for RF yet, because there is NO factual proof, just talk.
And Sniped, this wouldn't be something run purely server-side? I don't think a lot of servers will change their servers for use of Red Buster if it makes clients that don't even visit Levels4You and don't know about getting Red Buster not able to join, it leaves them out of the loop. |

Yeah, a wallhack is easy to make. Just inject a DLL into the DirectX process and change things a bit (like .. what, who needs loading walls if you can look through them?).
Red Buster will have to be used by clients in order to join a server, however, a client can join a server for about 5 seconds ... and a simple link can be added to a message that the server say's ... so the client knows where to get the shizzle.
I don't know what you guys rather have ... modders or .. this.
It's exactly the same like RF 1.3, i mean .. can you join a 1.3 server with RF 1.2? I guess not. It's simply not going to happen without clients downloading the patch, and servers running RedBuster. |

Thank you dead999, you're the 1st to provide some actual screenshots. But everyone that claimed wallhacks, stated they just had transparent textures, which is definitely not true.
Hmmm... Sniped, would it be possible to open a webpage after they get kicked out after the 5sec? Like open a webpage to the Red Buster's location. |

Well he would rather not be named, but he made a program to permentally ban an IP address from all of RF with the click of a button.
A wallhack could be also achieved by other means, table editing mainly. Im not dicussing this here, because it would be too easy to do and we dont want any new modders ( ) so sobe, ill talk to you in privite about it. |

LOL, some flags are server-side set only, so that doesn't help to get past server set piercing power. Only means would be the uber "rail" if you feel me! |

Oh yea, almost forgot about that rcon part. Rcon bronze, silver, and gold I believe was in the old tool. Was pretty nifty for giving what rcons what. |

Those bots were simple simulators that could join a server, spawn ... and hack it down the grave thanks to RF's 101 and more bugs.
That guy that wouldn't want to be named? LOL. I bet it's the person I sent my ban tool ago, which I made many months ago (if it's not a full year). Or it's on of the persons that I banned.
I'll try adding those special RCon levels. But first I'm going to do the anti-cheating part, which is the main feature of this application. And maybe a global warning list, that warns a server when a user joins that is suspected of modding or anything else. (However, this list should only be updated by some people who can handle it, otherwise the list will get CENSORED up pretty bad.)
Don't expect me to work at full speed, as I am currently at school doing my education Manager Storage & Transport which takes alot of time too. And I work out at the gym 3 times a week, so you could kind of say that I don't have that much spare time. But I can code lightning fast  And once I'm busy, I can go on for hours.
Adding an Auto-Updater would be a smart idea too, in case when people actually do succeed into cracking it I would just have to upload a newer version. |

Yeah, damn sure there is an aimbot out there that works on RF. I had one myself, and know exactly how they work. Server-Side this can't (well maybe it can, but it is extremely hard) be detected ... This has to be detected client side.
I'm gonna get some MJ, my engine runs on that kind of CENSORED . And currently my engines running low on fuel.
There's a server running called SnipedDragon's Gateway Testing. Try it out, when you get lagged out 10 seconds after joining and you really want to join the server ... Just wait for 20 seconds without rejoining the server (it'll lag 20 seconds), I made this hole especially for me so I could beta test. This hole might dissapear in a few day's. |

Sniped , add me to msn : ac3est@hotmail.com and i can give you more details on the wallhack and if you need then even the .vpp file what goes into multi folder.I just recived it from another friendly clan who has tryn to block it but without sucsess , then maybe you can do smth.
Btw i tried your server with lazyban and nothing happend , i can play normal in there... |

When you currently join my server with lazyban, you send an other join command to the server, that I haven't coded in yet. So basically, Red Buster will not see that you joined my server.
Most people that join, get private server messages and get kicked out however.
Edit: I wish I still had the servertool code, now I have to redo all the protocol decoding  |

 No one will get some software to join any server like this. Its
doomed to fail if u set up a server where clients need to have software
that changes their original. I bet all ( old scool ) players will not
be happy let their rf software change just to enter any server.
Its the 7the , 8the project of making a server tool to cut modding. I
run over 4 years servers now. Best thing is to have enough Rcon_Holders
arround that keeps ur server clean.
If u find any way to make it stand alone , NOT to update client files
ill be happy to test ur work any time.
