We have been working on it ... but it matters when redfrog decides that he wants to release it ...
Im just trying to get more maps in it for VCTF  ... |

Aye, we have been working on it. REDFROG is working on getting his DSL up, when that happens we will release version 1.1 
Should be within the next 2 weeks |

That is awesome, I have been SO addicted to Mars Wars lately. So, hopefully, two weeks come quick, huh?  Will there be more maps with v1.1? And I was reading just today about the magazine wanting Mars Wars for their CD/DVD, congratulations to everyone on the Mars Wars Team, Great Job!!!

I have played beta versions for a month or two before release and i don't think ive played regular UT2004 in at least 4 months ...

How could Mars Wars screw up your UT2004 if it is in a completely different folder and doesn't modify any files origional files ... UT2004 doesn't even recognize it unless you run the mod command 
whatever bug you had probably wasn't because of Mars Wars ... |

Well, I installed it two different ways on each of my computers, and it IS possible, but I was able to work around it. The only REAL difference is one way is through the Mars Wars launcher and the other is through the UT2004 launcher, it just lists Mars Wars as a custom game type. It was still, proabably, how he installed it. Either way, y'all gotta play it!

in other news, my dad just got in a 42" LCD TV today, i think im going to use it as a monitor for Mars Wars when hes gone to work ... |

I'm glad that there are still people waiting for the next release and still playing the old one! 
Yes, I'm "working on" the DSL thing. Unfortunately it will take much longer than I was expecting.  I've got a mail from the Telekom saying that somebody will come to our new house at Jan 22nd and will check the new phone connection.  I dunno if the internet will be ready at that date, too. (I doubt that) 
I'm soo looking forward to play Red Faction again. Oh..and Mars Wars, too 
I have tweaked a lot of things, I could have done more if I wouldnt have played so much Sometimes I was just tired of it.  What Mars Wars really needs are maps, now. Making maps ain't fun to me anymore. I don't know why, maybe its me or UnrealED. I always enjoyed mapping for Red Faction. Perhaps I've got too old for mapping. Oh wait, how old was NoClanFrank again?
Assaultman67, I'd be very happy if you had some useful content, maps I mean, for Mars Wars There aren't many new maps from me yet. Hangar18, VCTF-Serenity(UT04map)..I can't remember more. *cough* |

Assaultman has been working on some nice MW maps, which ive tested.
Same here man, UED just isnt near as fun as RED to me either.
But i suppose if we are desprate, i could cough out a few maps, along with a few RA maps i havent released yet |
