When I first started playing RF. I found the MYTH mod. I used it, They updated the game from 1.1 to 1.2 and all it gave you was unlimited ammo. I got banned like 3 time as well for using dark magic, the mod that allowed you to jump higher. After that I didn't think cheats were worth it. So yeah, there is/was a small chance I was/did cheat.  |

Darkmagic was one of the VERY first RF files I added to Redfactionplanet, it was a mod for SINGLE player, the version which was on here did NOT work in multiplayer. |

That statement is not true my little Genxer. It did work on multiplayer. Well it gave you higher than normal jumps, which were more annoying than anything else. I sometimes could get in holes if I accidently hit the jump button first. It was fub jumping over other players but the fun ended when others fragged you will you were in the air...helpless.
This is the reason why it was removed from "this site".  |

i found someone that had the same name as me back when i played every day for half the day ... but i dunno if it was a coincedence (i had a different name ... coolguy  ... kinda dumb ), if it was him trying to steal my name, or if he was just trying to piss me off  ...
i changed my internet name when i signed up for an account at L4Y, i thought "coolguy" was too generalied anyway ...
Anyway, a couple of months ago I played UT2004 and found a guy named coolguy, i asked him if he's ever played Red Faction ... and he said he had for a while ... creepy ...
I told him i used to be named coolguy too, untill someone jacked my name on RF ... after that he wouldn't talk to me  ...
Then again, it could all be coincedence ... but what are the odds? |
