I figured him for dead at this point, lying in some ditch with some crazy guy like those from these forums shouting "Release the fuckin mod"
anyways good to hear you're alive and well and SF is going to be finally release in due time. Too bad you didnt release it earlier, you probably could have gotten some moddb awards |

Well anyways i've made a short video of a series of clips highlighting the perfected hit detection and also the ragdolls of the characters themselves.

A better quality version has been uploaded here and is awaiting to be looked at. Once its up i'll provide the link here.
With the amount of moves you have available and with the ragdolls, you'll never see you or enemy die in the same way. I captured a few on the vid which kept me entertained for a few hours! Looking at the ragdolls makes me wish it would be possible to put a replay feature in but hey nevermind. I had a lot of fun making this vid even though you can see Evil Ryu kicked my arse a few times before I managed to beat him with ken. Well there you have it, hopefully it'll tide you over until the end of the month then you'll have the finished article and you can play around till you hearts content!
About the mod:
Make no mistake i've ironed out the little teasing problems with the collisions of the hits and every character now fully reacts to a hit weather they are performing an action. What this means is that when you hit them, you'll see them reel regardless what they are doing and you will also be given audio and visual cues to highlight the fact.
Streetfighter has changed a lot since the last time you saw it with the added particles which i'm replacing with the ones I already made and also a few level changes, other stuff is really cosmetic. Couple of screenies of some of the new effects;

Wow, that really good made bitmaps for this effects, and i see they are really good optimized . So i can play this mod on my old CENSORED

dodn't know if this question was ever ask.
will the mod be backwords compatably with the regular payne levels? if so will we be able to chose are characters for those levels as whell? also if it is backwords compatable how will the enames in those levels fight? with the SF malee system or just use there guns? |

Yeah it will be, however some issues will crop up. The graphic novels will be mixed up with the SF ones so you'll see some of those tossed instead of the originals. The enemies won't use too much melee as the system I've used primary uses custom AI for the enemies which can't be achieved without editing in maxed so you can only go so far with normal scripting.
I'm working on sorting out the graphic novels atm so once I figure out this stupid problem i'm getting with new GN they will all be seperate. Yes you'll be able to play as any character, but i've yet to go through the entire game as each character so there may be some issues with cutscenes etc etc. I'll check that jut before release though. |
