today at my local wall-mart i looking at an electronic gameing mounthly (was lucky that someone had already open it for me  i do not open magizines my self any more...... ) and on page 42 there was aposting about fact from rumers. FACT ( Long paragraph short ) Red Faction 3 will be blowing the bloted lead off the ps3 some time with-in the next year.
P.S. i had post in a topic a will back i was going to be making a comparsion video om my red faction mod STAR WARS TC. but to to files that i deleated from my registry ( installed quick time, my pc didn't like it. tried to uninstall quick time. did not want to leave. opened regedit, deleated any thing refering to quick time.......... big mastake... operating system is slooooowly dieing. ) making video's is out of the question. how ever i would still like to see my mod compleated to an extent. as of right it is ready for releas... sort of. i just need new player and weapon models. now being that i do not know how to model my self, i need other people who know how. at this point i do not realy care about quality, just so long as people are willing to help. if anyone is interested you can contact me by

I live in Champaign Illinois Volition-Inc(RF Developers) is a block away from my house and i went inside their building to get a tour with my friends and i asked and they said its in Development but Saints Row is coming out first. Also my dad owns a restaurant near there and the guy who hires and fires people there whatever his job is called well His brother is a Heating and Air Conditioning worker and he does work at my restaurant and he got me the Tour to get in there>>>>>! |

Lets hope it turns out just like the original RF, with a new story (a good one please... Believeable.) still used Geo, or maby an updated version of geo, has online/LAN multiplayer..... and includes a level editor...
Oh, and screw the Ps3, i WILL NOT be getting one, ever. Unless someone gives me one... ill never own one. So i say they just make it a PC exclusive... the ps3 wont sell more than 500 copies... niether will RF3.... Im telling you right now thatn the Ps3 will be (if not the total death) the partial death of sony. Its a shame, because before the PSX (Playstataion) came out, sony made good stereos, TVs, and other electronics... since they got into video games, its gone downhill... |

Thats a load of BullDoo!
Sony managed to bring out the best gaming consoles there are, PSX, PS2 and the PSP. I think the PS3 is going to be a Great machine, and again will make Sony marketleader.
back on topic:
I think the RF3 story is also a big load of BullDoo, just read what D2k posted/quoted.
would be nice to see a RF3 but I just think it ain't gonna happen. |

I should slap you if I could for typing that.  If RF3 ever comes and its all around good SP with a SDK, Multiplayer, and for PC. Im switching over. However you will be left behind to die with regular old RF.
Well see what happens after saints row is released. However if they do port that to the pc ill get it. Looks pretty good. Also ill have to disagree with goober. RF3 will definatley sell alot more than 500 copies as you claim. There are a ton of people who have played redfaction before. I can mention it in a number of gaming forums and there will be people that have played it and have liked it who are still looking forward to a new one.

Concerning the PS2...
Although im not a playstation fan I still own a PSX. it's good for only one reason. It has alot of good games for it. I didn't like ps2 before because it was overhyped, and dont like the PS2 now because the day it came out there were loosers camping outside of bestbuy in tents... "Hello, yes can you please move out of the parking lot I WOULD LIKE TO GO TO THE MALL!" They even had a grill and cooking hamburgers, can you guess which ones were in front of the line? Later that day I watched the local channel and aparrently there were fights inside bestbuy OVER a stupid PS2. Now the area im living in has gotten considerably worse over the years. There will probably be shootings over a PS3 instead of a mere fight. lol
Concerning the PSP...
I never liked handheld gaming devices. They are a distraction and a pain in the CENSORED with batteries. Only someone so helplessly addicted to gaming needs one i suppose. Buying a handheld gaming device shows how much self control you don't have over yourself.
Concerning Xbox...
Yes, i liked the xbox... Well at least until my cousin got the bright idea of fixing it with a wrench to the lens. Great titles, great graphics, great idea, executed well.
Concerning Xbox 360...
Well, this one was just executed horribly... 2 different versions. one without a HD, and another overpriced one with a HD. The idea of a console going online and getting updates for console games really increases the quality of its releases. However, you cannot make custom content for your games via SDK and that is one reason consoles will never meet up to a pc port. These new games coming out for the Xbox360 are short of trash. Its all "been there done that"
Perfect dark zero was a huge letdown, after all those years of development ive never seen a game as buggy as PD zero, i can think of around 10 bugs off the bat right now if i were to list some. Burnout revenge was a great title however ive never seen cars get so explosive in my life. Anaways The xbox 360 flawed when they released 2 different versions. Stupid move imo.
The awaited PS3...
Im not even going to leave my house the day it comes out. If im leaving im going to go into a bomb shelter at least. From what ive seen happen on the news at best buy when the PS2 came out I can't fathom how many idiots are going to be in the parking lot this time. Or how many are probably going to get in fist fights.

and finally about MMORPGS...
Stop making them, if the battles are stationary. Mainly meaning; Player click enemy, player attacks enemy, player chooses some special skills, enemy dies. rinse and repeat. Great, how boring, can i have my money back now? Ahem, guild wars, WoW, LOTR online, D&D online, the list goes on. If i see any more im going to seriously throwup. can we have a FPS MMORPG? something like a constant action MMORPG, lets say if like Redfaction, with a mix of melee and ranged weapons (or furturistic weapons). that would totally be awesome. Don't even mention that crappy GUNZ game either.

i guess i wasn't as clear as i thought. hopfuly this will sound clearer...
i was standing in the mgazine isle at wall-mart pondering wich gaming mag i should read through this week. I DO NOT BUY THEM. and as luck would have it.... a shop lifter hade been there before me. the shop lifter just wanted the CD's not the magazine......i know from experince. but i do not do that any more. been at lest 12 years now. anyway... so i was able to look at a brand new mounthly issue of elecronic gaming mounthly for free. also as i assumed elecronic gaming mounthly does not have a web site. how ever i am still going to keep searcing the web and magazines for more proof
P.S. i like all of the gaming systems. had fun playing mario sunshine and the fact that all of the firts resident evil tittl are on one gaming tittle starting with re zero. loved devel may cry 1 AND 3 part two just didn't fell. i realy liked Castlevania Simphony of the Night
not to mention obi wan adventures and halo... there i think i just cover all the sytems........................ i do wish they would make all game avalible to all systems though.

i dunno if this is a good thing or not ... they completely slaughtered the plot during the transition from RF to RF 2 ...
will they revert back to the origional plot or will the slaughter it a 3rd time ... I would think a good plot that could be based off RF 1 would be miners along the asteroid belt rebelling against Ultor after hearing about the rebellion on Mars ... i dunno, i just think they threw one hell of a curveball from RF1 to RF2 ... |

The 360 is not crap i have it and it rules i got me a 360 because the ps3 will be more of a computer then a console and it is just way to pricey, i will get one later if the price will go down witch i don't think it will in the near future. |

I can't be bothered quoting goober's sony remarks and going on for a few pages with arguement. But let's just go with - you are a complete fool.
I probably won't be buying any of the next generation consoles. To me the xbox360 is nice, but it really doesn't feel like the next generation to me. I've played it and spent many hours with Table Tennis, an amazing game might I add. But it just doesn't seem worth it, especially with the pricing of the games!
The Wii looks very cool! Although I fear it will be like the DS. They are both extremely cool and innovative ideas, but i worry it will be taken down by a lack of really breathtaking games, and some slightly poor execution.
The P$3 and it's price is what turns me off. It looks amazing, the graphics are second to none. Playstation has got awesome games like Final Fantasy that want me to get, which, once again looks amazing, and with all Final Fantasy games will be awesome! I have no doubt the P$3 will be awesome, but it's just far too much money for me to want to spend, whilst also keeping my PC up to date. A job only goes so far... |
