Well I'm getting the Xbox360 for sure...probably in the summer 
The Wii looks very interesting after watching it being played(looked very fun)so I might pick it up at Christmas, which I doubt I will...
The PS3 however, has killer graphics and has good technology in it.
XBOX360 - Great multiplayer and online support
Wii - Innovative games and interesting control
PS3 - Best Performance in technology(gfx and stuff) |

Im gonna get the Nintendo, becuase it looks so fun and will be quite cheap compared to the others, plus it has free online
The PS3 is sounding good, but the price makes it out of reach for me.
I might pick up and X360 when they come down in price, most of the games i want for it are on PC anyway. |

I am looking forward mostly to the PS3, but PC games are the best. By the time it comes out I will have plenty of money saved up. |

I am looking towards the PlayStation 3, however, I don't think I'll purchase it once it comes out... $500 is a lot to me for purchasing a console. But, in the meantime, I think I will purchase a Nintendo Wii, as I saw the demonstrations at the E3 convention last week. And the movements via the Nun-chuck-like controllers was extremely accurate in Red Steel. |

I already have a 360, so that gets my vote. The Wii looks like it's going to shake-up the way games are played (and it will be affordable), so I plan on getting one of those as well. I have no plans of spending $600 on a PS3, even if the graphics are supposed to be slightly better than 360's. |

Exactly... the key word there is 'slightly'. The PS3 isn't worth the extra money over an XBox360 IMO.
XBox360 gets my vote. |

This article is pretty old (so the argument may no longer be valid), But in it, Hideo Kojima made a comment on how the real-time demo of MGS4 could run on the Xbox 360.
If this is still the case, that destroys any argument about better graphics. From what I have seen, MGS4 is the best looking PS3 game out of the bunch. It's sad really, I love the MGS franchise, but not enough to pay $600 to play the next installment. |

I say when the PS3 comes out, both the Xbox 360 and PS3 will have identical power but as time goes on, it could possibly blow the 360 out of the competition. |

360 definatley.
-it has halo 3 *angels singing* i would get it just for that...anyway it seems like the graphics and the tech are revolutionary
PS3-looks great with all its functions
Wii(ill never get tired of saying that  ) it looks very fun and interesting....although it seems like it would give you a workout when trying to be lazy(though im just used to being fat  ......  ) |

I don't understand why Halo 3 is receiving such accolades. Sure it's Halo (mandatory 'ooohs' and 'aaaaahs'  ), but that's it. To me, the Halo 3 announcement at E3 was just that, an announcement and not news from the heavens.
I most likely will play it, but I hope it delivers a good gaming experience rather than rely on the name Halo being on the cover (Halo 2, i'm looking your direction). |

My vote goes to the 360, I have one and I'm perfectly content with it. So even IF the PS3's graphics are better, I'm not going to spend more money on a new console for a minor difference.
Halo 1, 2 and quite possibly 3 are all over-hyped. Yeah they're good games I just don't see why people feel compelled to imply that Halo 3 is angelic. *evil-eyes nightstrike* I do like 1 and 2, I just don't think they're what everyone makes them out to be. |

Its just that the over-all gameplay is great making the game so fun to play. It has great multi-player and a great story line. |

Spec wise the PS3 and the Xbox 360 are nearly exactly the same, the xbox however uses tried and true tech, where as the PS3 is using New tech, ie. CELL Processor. |
