what about a madness mod? does any one remember madness interactive..or the madness series? the little guys with no legs arms or neck just a head floating and feet and hands..they were always a gorey mess and fun to play. replacing some of the guns with the madness guns like the CENSORED gun, and grenades as the marshmellows..sounds kinda fun to me.

like this model, replaces the bad guys.

Hell yeah! Madness is great! Except why would you make Hank the bad guy? Shouldn't he be the good guy?

Ok I know this is a mod Idea thread but I need to ask you guys your opinion on two moves I put in my mod. 1 is invincibilitie and the other is invisibilite. Do you guys think it will make the mod too cheap?

i think being invincible and invisible at the same time is sort of redundant and would get boring pretty quick...

unless by "moves" you mean they'll be temporary and exclusive, then i think that would be better...HALO does that only as a pickup (overshield and active camoflage)...

so...
if they're always on = ...cheap? yes... boring? Very Yes!
if they're individual "moves" or even pickup items = i'd say it's a great idea
...do not focus on the finger or you will miss ALL THAT HEAVENLY GLORY...

No they are individual moves, that you can turn on and off.

Assuming that is something that gets turned on and used up like the bullet time meter then it should not cheapen the experience. For invisibility you could do some kind of graphic that mimics the Predator movies. Could even do a graphic change for invincibility. I say go for it.

Sadly it can't get used up, I don't think the mp2m engine can do that.

I think there should be more mods with Mona Sax. Perhaps have a storyline revolve around her. Anyone agree?

i had an idea for flashbangs. my idea is to take a nade, increase the blast radius and give the moltov CENSORED tail animation without the fire to anyone within the blast radius. the animation wud run for about 1-2 seconds. this would simply have enemies flailing their arms and stuff making it seem like they might have been flashed. Good idea?

Have it so that it is a Moltov replacement..and yes..increase the blast radius..and remove the damage, replace the model and the effects..a really bright flash from those fireworks boxes or whatever they are..and then make them flail around like they are on fire...but no flames..good idea..make it and it will be fun just to flash people and shoot them in the face.

have you ever thought about adding smoke grenades? i think it would be funny! no one can see you and then you can use the smoke grenades to blind enemies for a coule of seconds. after that you can shoot them down while they don't see anything.
what do you guys think?

if not, you should...lots of inspiration can come from his films in regards to modding a game like Max Payne.

if i ever get enough free time i was planning a level mod (or something like that) based on his film with Mira Sorvino(who would replace Mona) called the Replacement Killers...


I was hoping for a Hard Boiled mod as I'm very attached to Tequila's look (see: PS3's Stranglehold), but a Replacement Killers mod is an excellent idea. Not only does it give Mona the sorely-needed attention, but Fat circa RK has a coat. I've seen how hard it is to get a coatless Max, so building John Lee instead of Tequila means it won't matter that much. Less work = happiness.
