Actually, the gameplay would be nowhere like RF 
And that would be major flaw IMHO. |

i had a 12mm almost perfect replica inside ut2004 at one point. but my HD has since fried. there was custom ammo pickups and sounds. no clip and reload though. IM STILL A NOOBY UREAL SCRIPTER KAY!
mabye my cousin has some of those screens. it was a nice feeling getting that pistol into the game. |

well it says someone has already used my CD-key so i guess some unscrupulous person has used it already and im to cheap to purchase a new one (dont have reciept anyway)

I'm just learning to use Unreal Ed and I'd like to help with mapping if this mod becomes serious. I find UE is very similar to RED, so I should get the hang of it pretty quickly. |

Doesn't the ps2 count shrink with higher res textures because arn't they generated by textures that tial too much across a face? So if you use higher res textures they would tial less causing less ps2's..
anyway I'm a RF fan that has ut04 But i can't mod or map for ut04. Back when I first got ut04 i got the 2 disc dvd eddition (1 dvd for game 1 dvd of all unreal ED video tuts) and I started to learn the editor then got destracted or board or something that took me away from learning the ed and I never went back to it anyway hopefully this mod gets finished and relieced. Tha would be cool. |

first off, its released not relieced...
believe it or not, the mod is 3 days old and ive already been getting testers PMing me, along with KillAllHumans
guys (RED-FROG and me) lets get started on modeling, KillAllHumans, id really like to see some screenshots of RF maps  you do have the privlage of posting news posts in the CDC
like people have said about the simpsons (RF) mod...it can be a good mod, but it will still suck without good maps |

Not bad D2k, that map looks very close to the original map.
I've heard about it, Frank said it was too small.

Last time I played that level with him, he said he was going to upload the file to this site. Well it looks like he forgot, so I uploaded for him.
Now it's up to the UT2004 Staff to post it, when that will happen. I don't know. 
BTW, it's not that it's too small, it's that UT2004's speed is faster than Red Faction. But there are moves to slow down the game, I just don't recommend doing it. If anything,when I run a UT2004 VCTF server, the speed is up to 106% instead of the default 100. |
