Uhhh, im not sure but I do remember seeing that a Little while ago, maybe he has backed out of the online scene for a little bit of a break with Family. Im just trying to think how long he has been gone, could be visiting Friends/Family or even be on holiday.  |

:O its all gone to shizzle since i stopped playing. I best make a come back map. And then run around naked through the streets with the level design tatooed to my arse.
Such advertising will surely hit the media give rf a boost and bring back sites such as red tech. |

I was just pondering some of the things that make RF sucha great game and I realised that the characters in it play a huge part. I've played Halo, RTCW, Duke Nukem, Doom.. etc etc and you just don't have the kind of game characters that stimulate discussion. Of course Halo has the Red vs Blue videos (for those that know of them) but those characters aren't in the game. Red Faction has Eos, Parker, Masako, Capek etc. They have personalities and they are memorable.
Although single player mode isn't what we all keep playing, I think that in many ways they are what distinguishes Red Faction from other games. Sure its losing popularity, but I'm sure most people that have played it agree that its not a run-of-the-mill game. Its different.
I suppose this is a little off topic but so is advertising RF on your butt LOL.... actually, that's just OFF lol. |

Haha yeah I guess K. nice to see you back Len!
I like Riot Guard, feel kinda sorry for him though as in single player he only gets crappy weapons, and normally gets killed before he can get anywhere!  |

Yeah well kiliad is right, only few games have really characters that you remember (in good or bad).
I would say that system shock was first of this kind game (although there were no other humans than player). And it was continued in thief series (aas there were various persons in each game [not visible etc. but there was])
So on that basis I would say that games that has made me greatest impress to this day are :
1. Red Faction
2. Thief series
3. System shock. |
