I wasn't dissapointed with DooM the movie at all. I expected it to be decent and it turne out to be good. My movie rating system goes: Horrible, Bad, Decent, Good, Great. Doom was good. House Of The Dead was horrible. which brings me to the point of Who Needs Uwe Boll?
Ok, so Alone In The Dark was decent but how is Bloodrayne supposed to be a good movie whithout Nazis or even guns , that was a big part of the game. In Doom there was a different reason for the monsters being there intead of teleporting in from hell, but at least the marines didn't show up to Mars to fight wizards or dragons. Ok mabee Bloodrayne could have been alive in the Middle Ages but as a gamer I'd like to see her tear Nazis apart, I could be wrong and mabee the movie will be good for what it does show. I just think Uwe should have stuck with the original plot for the game. Also he is wanting to make a Postal movie, it's an idea, I just don't know how you could have a storyline in a Postal movie. Mabee he will make up his own story and it wil be Postal In Space or Postal The Love Story. I am glad this guy was kept away from the production of DooM. He also wants to do a FarCry movie, not a bad idea. As long as it is not as bad as House Of The Dead then mabee he can keep from destroying the "Video Games To Movies" genre which DooM has pushed in the right direction. (JUST MY OPINION)

An opinion shared by many gamers ... Uwe Boll is the devil (meant in the worst possible way) who could make movies for gamers but instead trys to do his own thing, When source material is already there for you to use, use it

Nazies weren't in the "middle" ages, it was in 1941.

And Blood Rayne, X-Men 3, Spiderman 3, Iron Man, Superman Returns, and Dead or Alive should all be decent movies.

Blood Rayne, if you have seen the teaser for it, you will see it is decent.

What I meant was the game is set at the height of naziism and the movie takes place in midievil times and I would prefer to see the original storyline intact. Bloodrayne 2 doesn't even take place in the Olde Time and yes, I look forward to XM3, IronMan, SM3, and so forth, but those (I don't think will) be produced by Uwe Boll.
Thank you for the input though and I probably will see Bloodrayne when it comes out on DvD. Kristiana Lokken is hot anyway.

Told you Kristiana Lokken was hot , so is Michele Rodriguez fron Resident Evil(another good movie based on a game). Speaking of which, the director of Resident Evil 2 has been anounced on Dec.5 2005 to direct the upcoming Castlevania movie set for a 2007 release. Paul W.S Anderson also directed Aliens Versus Predator(great movie). There is also a movie based on Silent Hill set for release in 2006. Christophe Gans (Brotherhood Of The Wolf{good movie}) is set to direct it, could be good. Also, Halo is set for a 2007 release and has Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh signed on to produce this Sci-Fi epic, there is no director as of yet.

Forget Bloodrayne!
I'm waiting for the movies for Devil May Cry (fight scenes... ) and Max Payne (shootouts... )
Those who follow the path of others lack the imagination or courage to create their own.
In my spare time I like to write game reviews for Game Revolution.

Halo, is going to a great movie (if they make it) Hopefully they get a good director like Stephen Speilbarg, or George Lucas. Them 2 are great for sci-fi movies.
