Gamer=person who plays and enjoys playing video games
You don't need to own all of the consoles to be considered a gamer.
Hardcore Gamer=Person who feels like spending lots and lots of cash on videogames.
Ummm yeah nty. Bieng a hardcore gamer isn't exactly something for someone to be proud of. All it means it that you are willing to spend literally thousands and thousands of dollars on games.  |

yeah, I have to admit that I've spent an absurdly high amount of money to feed my gaming habit over the years...

I didn't say you did, I said you cant own one console and hate another and still be a gamer. I didn't say you had to own all 3. |

I don't hate a console, I just think others are better.
In my opinion,
PS2 is better than the X-Box which is better than the Gamecube
Furure,
PS3 will be better than the X-Box 360 which will be better than the Wii(revolution) |

Im actually surprized consoles are not obsolete yet ... technology keeps getting smaller and more combined, why don't they just use something that can do alot more ... like a PC   . all it takes is the right videocards a few drivers for wireless controllers and i could play in front of the tv as well (i like monitors better though, better resolution)
(BTW, anyone see those new iMac commercials ... ticked me off a little bit  )
I dunno maybe i sholdn't judge since ive never owned a console ... |

Assualtman67, consoles are cheaper alternatives, they also have exclusive games ... i have had MUCH better gaming experiences on a console then i have with a PC.
Also not everyone knows alot about PCs, so building a decent gaming one may be a little over thier heads, meaning a console is a better way to go. |
