Unfortunatly this probably wont help you however it does appear to be something with the data/software rather than the Hardware. May i recommend doing tests, start systematically. If using Windows XP, try setting compatibility to 98, I have a problem with my copy and it appears to be due to Hyper-Threading (go figure). Weapons dont re-spawn, and people are moving in pretty much slow-motion (sort of like Lag but in reverse) Lace also suffered from this I believe, try that maybe? Trying to find old players. When he served the weapons did not respawn. I will recommend the win98 compatability next time. However, he is serving in the armed forces in the middle east right now. I have suffered in real life for the past couple years, now its your turn!     Linkin Park   Posted 11th Jan 2006 9:10am L4Y Member Post 52 / 57 Me neither i have ran RF servers but no lagg i'm on a P4 1.7 GHZ, MSI GF 2 MX400 PRO,ASUS P4TE, 256MB RDRAM [You Can Tell it's old] PC800, 37.2GB Maxtor HDD 7200RPM 2MB Cache Got no problems until my internet connection has downtime or computer dies because of overheating going for a new heatsink in like a week or two. but it works pretty fine. I can play on my own too it just laggs though when ppl go crazy over geo mod. Everything else is amazing. Page 2 Multiple Page Topic : 1 2
