Hey, just to let you all know the server is up and running RIGHT NOW! So feel free to join if you want to, if you don't have the maps then download them...Please join.  I myself am pretty lonely right now and have nothing else better to do.  |

Kerpal, no sign of Dyer's central for the last 2 days ?? . . pity coz i'v already got all those maps (couple of favs too) & they'd be gr8 to play as a rotate . . perhaps start it as a dedi & leave running a bit . . merry xmas |

KERPAL I don't see it either. Maybe it's not showing up. If that is the case and it's a dedicated server:
1. Keep it running.
2. Download this file:RF Server Browser 2
3. Run the program and see if you can see the server.
If you can't see the server, you might not have your port forward. Just so you know the default port for Red Faction is 7766 UDP. 
Then again, maybe you shut off your server and my/our search was for nothing. |

i couldnt find it either, try running a dedi through a .bat file insted of RF server assist. |

Since you sent me a PM asking how to use it, I added this to the description:
Instruction:
1. Extract the file to your desktop.
2. Double click it.
3. Click the double refresh green arrows on the top left side.
4. Wait for it to finish downloading all the servers.
5. Find the server version that you want and expand menu the tree.
6. Double click the type of server you want to look for:
DM = DeathMatch
TDM = TeamDeathMatch
VLD = Capture The Flag
Now you can see if your favorite server has people playing in it or use it to check to see if your own dedicated server is visible to other players. |

(hmm might as well post this since i already wrote it) maybe make a folder for it in your Program Files or Games directory (coz it makes a 'servers.txt' file) & extract /drag the 'RFSrvBrowser 2.exe' into it . . double click to open & use the green button on the tool bar top left . . it will check with the 'Master Game Tracker' & list all the running servers in version sub categories, see if your game is there (probably in v1.20) . . if not, then no one else can see it either & you have some sort of problem running servers . . perhaps try HERE for help with up-dating RF & running servers . . |

Ok, its working for me and I don't see my server on there at all, but most of the servers on there are using a port number of 7755 not 7766?  |

Ahh the genius of Espear.
Can I suggest you replace DM - Corpes Crossroads with DM - Corpses Crossroads 2.0.
It's still as fun and as beautiful but it's no longer a race to see who can get to the rail room first and control the map.

KERPAL the default port is 7755. The port that you use can be anything but you have to remember to change it on your server where it says force port. If you have it blank, then mostly likely it's still set to the default level.
If you need to find out how to forward a port on a particular router then may I recommend you go here for further instruction:
