i think there should be a RF2 mod, because some of the guns are better in rf2 (rail, NICW, and mabye the shotgun with the flame property in SP)

RF2 is doable. We just need some weapon models made. We don't really have to have but 1 character model(Alias).

that doesnt seem to hard, we also need some good maps from RF2.

Is there any chance whatsoever that RF2 could be modded to include a Multiplayer version? I imagine it's gonna require one hell of a lot of coding and programming tho

yeah if RF2 was modded into multiplayer there would be no need to make a RF2 mod for RF1. but it would be cool for us people who dont have rf2 for the pc.

Hell, if the weapons and Alias were made, I think I could make a few of the maps from RF2!

And about RF2 being modded, impossible because everything is hardcoded You would need to cypher all of the code if you were able to get the code, and it would just be a CENSORED load of work! Thus a mod for RF1 would be sufficient.

I really like the railgun it RF2.
and if you are going to make the guns into RF2 guns then u can also use the gun sounds from RF2. they are only mp3 format, so they would be easy to convert to wav format.

wow this is turning out to be a full fledged project If I had modding skills and halfway decent mapping skills then I would start a project, but since I dont have 3ds max and I'm not any good with RED, I guess you guys have it covered.

Mabye RED tutorials and letting me know how much 3ds max 4 would run me, mabye I would <<<HINT*HINT>>>

WAAAAAAAAAY back when I chose my name, I was into making simple mods like huds. I meant modeling skills in something like 3ds max 4.

unlike sobe said modding RF2 isn't impossible, but as of right now it's just not probable with out the software tools use to create RF 2 with. and one of those tools is called ccrunch + ,however violation denies such a tool even exist. as for modding the weapons to RF 1 there is only one i'd really like to see and that the anti-personal weapon.

Darth, have you actually TRIED to mod RF2? Otherwise shush! lol

RF2 can NOT be modded due to hard coding... Only thing you can edit is the sound files. And using software the game was made with would NOT help. We would need to DECODE it, not re-encrypt it... lol

I tried over 20 programs(payed for mind you) to even extract the maps, etc. via the RF2 files... I just could not crack it <_<

Advantage of RF1 Mod, instead of modding RF2....

FULL GEO, RF2s Geo engine was a bit rubbish, was nowhere near as good as RF1
