This is looking pretty good. Mabye I'll try my hand at a few maps...

I don't really have that much experience with paintball, but I have seen it on TV before. It was a bunch of inflated shapes in a big pit. I'll try when I get home...

hey ... you guys mind if i try to map a few cool Paintball maps?

ive got a few ideas ... ?

if i do anything though it will be over the weekend. I dunno, im lost ... so many ideas but i get halfway done with them and get burnt out of working on it ...

so im just asking if i could give it a try.(i just wanna make it clear that you might not want to expect anything from me if i do )

I do plan on adding some type of accurate pump gun.

So far we have 2 models ingame and about 6 others in production. We have Bob Long Intimidator, Tippmann 98 custom w/ flatline barrel, KingMan Spyder Imagine, WDP Angel FLY, Some type of a Pump Gun (haven't decided yet), and Red Frogs Protoype. (Most likely there will be more, but i haven't decided yet.)


Yes we are doing one hit one kill. The paintballs were applied to gravity but i didn't like that to much so i just slowed them down, i'm thinking i will add some cheapy gun that will have the gravity applied so the paintballs will fall. Its not to hard to dodge the paintballs, they are moving pretty fast tho .

You really should download the first teaser.


I would add the gravity back and make it fly about like d2k did in his wierd2 mod with the egg rifle.

Almost the perfect velocity with gravity for paintball.

Sure everyone is aloud to map for it, but that doesn't mean there map will surely be in the mod (no offence).

Trust me when i say its not as cool as you think. It gives the guns a weak effect, so for the weaker type of guns i will apply gravity. The Reason i took it out is b/c its crappy haveing to aim upward to hit someone down the field, know what i mean?

I already have the main pit area made, with an entrance building where you can choose your weapon. Plus it has a small, shallow water pool in the center. I will just need to know what weapons are what so I can place them without having to spend 2 1/2 hours downloading the mod. DAMN 56 K!!!!!! whew....

okay ive started on my map, its called "Paint The Road" a "metaphor" of "Choose Your Road"
anyway, it takes place in a jungle type setting, the flags will be located in a treehouse with a spiral staircase leading to it (ill make sure it has an invisable, smooth-walk brush on it with a road (moving cars) in the middle of the map seperating the two bases. it will have multiple ways to get to the flag and such, theres trees drooping across the road, and even one tree as an arch going across the road!
ill post some screenshots when i get some more done.

if I.A.C. or someone is reading this, i need a custom skybox made, it needs a jungle setting with trees on both sides, along with a road in the middle to match the map
also, im looking for a good road texture, ill probably end up making one myself, but eh also, if anyone has some tree textures or models, i need them. you can email them to gooberCP@gmail.com

EDIT: the paintball mod isnt working for some reason, so i cant test my level , ranswer, if your reading this, i need you on yahoo to talk about it ASAP

im making one right now 4 ya any way i was making my own server and i have one of the ism mod map's and i went and got a pic of one of the level's there is worse CENSORED than this lol

I know what you mean. Just long as it doesn't "only" drop 24 inches at 300 yards like a SpringField .30-06 bullet, I am happy.

Make it a 4 barreled pumpgun that shoots 5 paintballs out of each barrel, one shot at a time.
Aka pull the trigger once, one barrel empties, pull it again...

Just make it where it has 4 shots with buckshot with a crazy spread.

Not sure if this wouldnt be too unrealistic. Just wait what Ranswer says.
It might be more effective when the "pb fusion" shoots one ball out of each barrel (like a chaingun (well not really)) The barrels dont twist or something. But when you hit the trigger it will fire ball after ball from each barrel until all barrels are empty. (one shot (-4balls) requires a reload)
They could even to some splash damage like grenades or something. They spawn a explosion of paint which causes damage in its radius.

(technically its possible to do)

This could add some fun to the game, its always a good idea to have some heavy item(s) on the map. THats the important key in many games.

edit. oh yeah, Ranswer. The sniper is nearly done, and looks good (I think) But perhaps somebody like mostertman can later do something on the skin..I can't create good textures at all.
(he offered me if he could fix the skin of my remington mod, I think hes good at it.)

I'm still not sure about the spyder. Do you still need one? You were talking about "that" prototpye. I thought it was the sniper gun.
I think your mod already has a spyder? Or was that a different gun.

A big pump gun like that would be neat but not to replace the fusion being that (3rd person) you would have to hold the gun like the fusion which IMO would look kinda funny.

Great, show me a pix of it sometime. The sniper is/was Prototype being that its not a real brand of marker. As for the spyder i would love to see that gun added, being thats its a personal favorite. Remember the model i made with high poly? That was the spyder i wanted you to add, but you don't have to use my model (if u don't want to ).

A paint grenade will need to be made also.

how about a paint RPG for replacing the fusion. Where it would shoot a paint grenade and cause a large splash damage.

It would kinda stink if we didn't have any geo mod.

Oh and about my previous suggestion, just replace the noob heavy machine gun.
