a month wouldnt be a problem for me normally... but i have 3 differnt schoopl projects due with in this month... id need about 6 weeks to make a good map... i think we need a vote for a theme... here ill make a poll when you guys give me the ideas.
whats your ideas? i think that a winter theme would be good, i have plenty of ice textures from making run maps and i have 4 differnt snowflake textures that have alpha that can be used on particle emmiters 
i alcually think that realistic maps would be more fun, but thats just my opinion... what do you guys think? we'll get say 7 ideas, then ill start a poll... but the big question is who is going to organize this since Mr.Wizard said he wouldnt... i would exsept the school projects....  |

Winter? No thanks. Our winter's in the Land of Oz are like some people's summers ... I would build a beach or something ... and then everyone would cry because it wasn't within the 'theme'.
School is a bad idea. We don't need kids practicing the layout of their school for when they do it for real. Less real life kills the better.
As someone already suggested, my favourite level from another game is a good idea.
Or how about something more abstract like a colour, a word, or even an idea? An idea like, how I think the world will look in 50 years, or the world through my eyes ...
I had the idea for a ghost town mod for Max Payne, but never did it because I lost access to the kickass comp I was gonna build it on. A ghost town theme would be fun.
A "My Town", "My Favourite Place", or "My Living Room" theme.
It's late - I will prolly look at my suggestions tomorrow and not agree with half of them, but maybe they will prompt someone to come up with something a little more exciting than a winter theme. Which has already been done - i think. |

how about yea, we make maps of what we think the world will look like in say 200 years from now, that would be fun. everyones maps would be differnt, no repetadifness at all. |

Yeah i would love to make the first level of Syphon Filter 2 into RF  Syphon Filter 2 and RF are my favourite games.Nothing else not even HL2. |

nah, i like the second one the best, never really caught on to the third one. the first one was good, but some of the maps could of been better constructed. and RFU4 contained some good work, but it was soo messed up... |

1. the worlds bigist building or shoping malls (talk about your x-mas rush )
2. personale favorate places to go. /dream locations
3. dreams (plesint dreams, weird drems, nightmares,)
2. favorate movie / T.V. stage sets. |

Well I'm pretty sure the last idea on your list has been covered, but I'm not sure about places to go  that might be a good enough theme for the next rfu if it hasnt been covered already. |
