So how many people still play this game?

More like 200 - 300 at the most, I guess.
A common mistake people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

I notice people saying gameplay is the most important part and i agree.. but RF is capable of some very nice looking graphics, which should only be taken advantage of.
Considering the system specifications required to play the game.. the game itself is more powerful than it seems, and a Dialup gamers dream.. meaning that most people can install it and have no problems playing, where as the more recent games expect very high end machines.

The master server goes down from time to time. However that wont stop me from playing RF, and it shouldn't discourage others neither...
however i was looking at some F.E.A.R trailers, and i gotta say, it looks like its damn fun, its gameplay reminded me alot about rf, and when i tried the demo i was right. Although i wont be using dx9 features, and any setting above medium... the last thing i need is my pc being nutered...
