Johnny_Suave, if it makes you feel better. I tried to join Lazy's Wierd server today and I was banned. They might be using the Hex ban thing since I just got this IP 3 days ago.

Also, screenshots are rediculously easy to mess with (time-consuming, yes, but very easy if you have 6 hours to kill). I remember I once generated my own false screenshot of me getting a 600 in DM just to get a few laughs. Of course, as it was a lie, after I posted it, I threw it away, as no one appreciated the time spent on it and I didn't like that lie on my computer. The point is, give yourself say 6-12 hours and Photoshop Pro and you can mess around with it enough to look authentic. This is especially true on dark levels like CM, as the darkness hides a lot of the micro-errors.
Anyway, the trick is to paint the whole background the color of the base screenshot. Then overlay it, and create plenty of layers (one layer for each score). Then play mix-and-match or make your own (using a nice inserted text set to match the color of everything around it). The time-consumption is in ensuring it is all exactly right. If there's one corner exposed, it's an obvious fake and no one will like to look at it.
Now that I've told you my secrets, I'll give you this warning: This is only meant to be done for fun. If you do this to try to get back at someone, you'll only arg them off more. The creation of false screenshots is purely for fun, and once used for non-entertainment purposes, it becomes sick and wrong. Basically, if you're doing this on a "funny RF page", that's ok, but other than that, it's just wrong. Falsifying information is not going to help you any when you're playing the game, it'll just make you look like 10 times the noob. NCF can edit that down, or I might just take it out later, as this information can lead to some major problems. So, if it's still up in an hour and a half, it's gone. |

U are right Johnny_suave ! I played several years under my ohwn name
in red faction. I play on a lot servers arround the world, pings from
12 up to 300 i dun care .. i learned how to play whith 12 ping up to
300. Olso learned to play AGAINST low and high pings. A lot kno me
arround RF , i run several red faction servers myself. Now i found out
some funny stuff in RF. When i play under my ohwn name on ( well known )
servers . Lately i changed my name
to smurf on my ohwn servers and the well known, and guess what ? I get
banned from several servers, even olmost on my ohwn server. reason >
when i smurf it takes less than 1 min dudes start talking , he mods,
he glitch, he do this he do that pfffff . I will not post any players
names or servers names here to set up a fatal discussion, but those
servers and players i talk about should make sure who they realy are
in RF.
I have a rule in my servers that say , if u talk rude against other
players u get 1 warning ! If u go on ur OFF that servers. So even lot
old school players starts talking against ( new RF players ) like this
n00b , newby and so on. Its so LAME to sit behind ur keybord acces
any rf server to start talking like that against a new RF player. We
all started as a n00b, we al started to have online FUN in RF so look
in the mirror urself , and ask urself if u feel great to take down
the new kids.
On the other side, the new kids starts fast talking the most idiot
stuff olso, BUT most are kids under 16 yrs old and do not kno how
to behave. I would say IGNORE them about what they say.. Just let them
talk, they will leave the server anyway if they see that they can not
hold up whith the old school players.

I was playing in swiftgames and this miner went ape s.h.i.t at me and got rcon and was trying to band me. so then i said "try it miner" and killed him some more. he was so ANGRY  it was funny  . in the end the swiftgames administrator got fed up with his behaviour and band him for trying to band me. LOL what a stupid angry miner.
another thing when i was rebuilding my box i was not online for 5 weeks and when i got back i found that im band from weird server and have been for 2 weeks now. Dam it, Im on dial up and im still band! my ip changes every time i dial up so what gives? i must have the same ip/or ip range as some 1 that got band there. now it cheezing me off |

Yep same thing happens to me too. I get banned far faster when I'm smurfing. |

o dear o dear people still playin red its good to hear im sorry to say if it wasnt for me and my buddies at sniper_7 red would be free of mods shame to say we totaly bust that game open anyway if anyone remembers me rasin_hell_7 and swalsugmass_7 head over to the home of sniper_7 www.rasin-hell.com we dont do red no more but hey u never know we might just come back for old times sake and re bust red faction even wider than when we first did it lol regards |

we will be opening the new sniper_7 clan site in a couple of weeks www.sniper7.com and i am turning rasin-hell.com into a games download site and yes all sniper_7 original cheat mods as there called now will be uploaded for your enjoyment stop off at my site and let me know what CENSORED you would like to see available for download i am also starting to sell web space for all you clan leaders or just ftp access for game redirects this also will be up and running in the next few weeks

I think children should be banned from playing online games at the ages of 12 and under if they cannot hack it.
It seems that when somebody is doing better than they are, they think they have the rights to tell you what to do or in this matter, B!tch on about you being better and accuse you for modding.
It all mounts down to jelousy which ive seen alot in many cases.
Folks these days cannot enjoy online games these days due to, too many winding baby kids who cant hack the fact that you keep killing them.
Also, what gives them every right to say your modding?? Can they see your computer? NO!
Kids have forgotten how to respect their elders. Thats why you see alot of parents sit on top of their kids to calm them down.
Take my sister for example.. She is absolutly B!tchy when you piss her off, even with the most littlest thing going ever. Ive seen what shes like when shes playing online games. She makes a weird "Groan" sound everytime she is killed. Sometimes she talks to the screen saying phrases like "haha, you suck!". "Die! B!tch!".
Maybe these are triggers that set kids off to be as bad as they are accusing people of modding. Or their bad tempers that drives them wild and uncontrable.
I wouldnt take any notice of these kids. Id just tell them to "Shut up or ill spank them over my knee with a hockey stick"  . |

hahah red faction werent those the days its funny that every post is simualr to 2 years ago when i used to play lol things never change , and you mentioned about brining sites down and taking action ? lol free contect buddy its a game your ment to have fun lol but as you can tell if you have a problem with my mods or rasin-hells mods your have a problem getting rid of them there circlelated around a good thousand sites lol
