This is running me crazy.. I have placed it in the multifolder.. both the zip, the folder, and the .vpp... plus 3 copys of the .vpp with different names... still I can't find the CENSORED when I am about to start the server... I have looked through my maplist (very big) many times now whitout finding it... turns me crazy!!! have i missed something? |

it's probably becuase u have too many maps in yur multi folder!u can hold an infinite amount of mpas in yur multi folder but not all of them will appear on the map list when creating server or joinging one.i forget the exact ammount the the folder can hold but the numbers 250, 25 and 50 keep stirring in my head.so one of those i believe |

Ok i downloaded the map. It's named orbital towers. It must be named ctf-orbital towers. Open the vpp, change the name of the .rfl file and change the name of the vpp.
failling that open it with RED and change the name of the map in map properties |

Don't ever rename the .rfl you Hoser. You do that and the level won't be compatible with the version that was first made. That is basically all the game looks at. Not file size, not the color. Just the name and date...
Now with that said, if the .rfl doesn't match the .vpp name then you can rename to .vpp to match exactly the name of the .rfl level.  |

you silly one. It's named orbital towers not ctf-orbital towers. Staying as it is, noone will ever play it since it won't show up in the list (for anybody)
Actually a staff should do his job and rename it. |

Read the file again:
CTF - Orbital Towers (Fixed)
Description
File replaced on August 15, 2005 with a working version.
This is one of my first CTF maps. I don't really know if its fast paced, slow paced, or what, but it shouldn't lag at all. Even 56ers probably wont have lag. Just dl it and tell me what you think.
PS: Also, if you get headaches REALLY easy, then don't dl this map. It has a rotating sky.
Now if you don't want that version on the site then say the word and I will delete it. I also added your name and the levels name to the level properties, which is something you forgot to do aswell. It's your level and if you don't want this fixed version then let me know and I will remove it from the site completely so you can upload the updated version that you might have done. |
