Well first off, you need to learn about Alpha Channeling.

Alpha Channeling is a type of drawing proceedure where what ever u select and select to be aplha channeled, it will appear invisible in RED when using a detailed Brush or Decal.

I don't know how to alpha channel in Photoshop but I know how to do it in Paint Shop Pro 7.

Also Alpha channeling allows you to place pictures behind another picture... Just like having layers in a picture.

It ain't that complicated...

File >New >Choose your resolution >click Transparent under Background Colour >Click OK.

Then put your stuff on top. Save as a 32-BIT .TGA. Add RLE Compression if you want a smaller filesize.

It is very important you save it as a 32-bit TGA otherwise the transparency just won't work.
Back in RF... getting back into the swing of things!

You need Photoshop 7 if you want to use transparency in RED... I have PS 6, PS 7, and PS 8 CS and PS 7 is the only one that I can get transparency into red with...

Difficult to say because Jasc have stopped making free trials of Paint Shop Pro 7. I cannot tell you where to get an illegal copy of it either because websites get fined $25,000,000 if one of its members discribe a where abouts of an illegal copy of a current program.

My best guess is to do a search on google for "Paint Shop Pro 7" to see if there is any website that is still hosting the free trial version.

Try www.downloads.com. Im very sure they might have the trail on their site somewhere.

They show up white in RED but if done correctly they will show up transparent while in the game. Also if you choose render everything, you will see them as you would in the game(F8 not F7).
