i'm not sure if this is in the right place or not? but here it goes.
as every one know's i am trying to make force push for my star wars mod. and whill i have hade a few people give me some great tips on making this happen. none of those ideas woeked quite the way i would'v liked. there is one last idea i have i mimd but i don't know if it will work or not. is there a way to make a weapon (or modify an existing weapon) that will shot an invisable jump pad. this whay when the jump pad hits the player it will send them flying acroos the room. I would try this my seld but all i can do is table editing.

im no max user but, i dont think that would work, as a push region is a object in RED and you dont use RED for making weapon models...sry

this is the only idea i could think of. of even creating a fully working "force push" in RF if only a skilled modder would see this threed i'm sure it could be done...

nope, you cant do that. you can try to make it shoot out a somewhat large invisible bullet that does no damage with a velocity of about 99 (velocities of 100 or more will cause it to be a instantaneous shot in MP) therefore being useless...
what about an anti gav gun. A.K.A. Half Life 2. or at lest somthing very close to it?
All i know how to do is table moddingg

lol
sorry, but I had to laugh when I read the last post with the grav gun.
Lets borrow "Havok" or something similar and put it in RF.
Well you can do a death animation that looks like some1 beeing pushed back. But that guy will fly through the walls
Perhaps there's something possible with the collision spheres. But still...it'll only be a death animation, the player that got killed won't even notice it, the head-camera won't move along the body.

unless you could make the dead bode colide with the world some how???? and i don't think it would make any diffrence to the people playing multi being as thos bodies don't stay around too long after death but it would be i nice visual for the people playing throught the SP game.
