Post 4 / 4 I messed up my computer and when i fixed it and tried to play utk4 i got a error stating that i had to enable a direct3d accelerator in my direct 3d dxdiag. When i went to directx dialouge i couldnt enable it.On my notes it said that there was somethin wrong with it. I need to know how to fix this error. KaiserBullet   Posted 4th Aug 2005 7:27am Welcome! Post 3 / 2 Well, I just checked through my DXDiag tabs (running 9.0b), and the 'display' tab seems to have buttons for enabling and disabling accelerators for DirectDraw and Direct3D, try that. though if your notes area is saying you have a problem, I'd reccomend just reinstalling DirectX; pop in your UT2K4 disc or DVD and reinstall, and make sure to tell it to install DirectX 9.0b while you're at it.
