Hi every1,
My dad bought a new laptop, and i wanted to install UT2004 i did entered my cd- key (i do have a official version so no piracy or whatever) installation was complete, i click play and there comes an error:
"CD- key apears to be invalid.you will need to re-install the game and enter cd key to fix this problem" ...
i did, same problem, i did again, SAME PROBLEM ?! i have installed UT2004 on my moms computer to and on my own but i un installed it so ...  oh man i just wanna play !  |

where did you get your game from and ut2004 is a good game  but i dont know the problem |

IT ISNT ! I played the game much before, i got the game from 'Fnac' some multi media shop.

well if your just gonna act like that when people are trying to help " 3 TIMES YEAH RIGHT" then im not gonna bother.
Maybe you have given out your cd key and someone else is using it.
is it the proper boxed dvd? |

Hmm, i need more information on it, How did you install it, what happend when you installed it on YOUR computer and was the shop manager say that someone previously used it? |

Maybe it would be easier if you could tell the exact error you get? "Something like that" is not very accurate  |

Actually, the same exact thing happened to me and I also have a legit copy! I eventually ended up using a no-cd patch....  |

The latest official patches for UT2k4 allow you to play without a cd. If that's not what General sent you you should download and install the latest patch before you try to play the game, it might help. |
