How would I set up an FTP server from behind a router? I use a program called "Dream FTP Server" and before I used to be able to just start the program then all someone had to do was type ftp://myip (myip=what ever my ip was) and then they would be able to get onto my FTP and download and upload files.. Now it doesn't seam to work... I forced all the ports on my router but they still can't access my FTP... what else do I need to do so people can access a ftp on my comp again?
I do it... Simply let down your WinXP SP2 firewall, or another firewall you have up.
That's how I run mine with FileZilla Server. It's open source and works like a dream

Why down your firewall ? just open port 21 or whatever port you have the FTP server set to.

Well, noone can access my FTP without me putting down my firewall. Dunno why... I forced ports through router firewall AND winXP firewall and still noone can access it.
Just saying to try it and see what happens
