Over the past two months we have got back too our modification Alienated and we are ready for a closed beta test. Quite simply the first six people who sign up here will get to beta test the mod with us on our new and original CTF level Aquatica. Here are a few screenshots of the mod map aquatica for you all to look at... ========================= CTF-AL02 Aquatica ========================= Anybody wishing to test the mod must be available on friday 29th July at 8:00 GMT. ========================= This beta is mainly for people who we dont really speak too often or dont even know in the community. A select few who we know will be priveledged to get a look at the mod anyway.. and you probably know who you are... ========================= Everybody enjoy the screenshots and we hope to see some of you on the server. The mod upon its multiplayer release will feature 5 CTF maps and 5 DM maps, although this beta test will be one of the CTF's but we think that with this particular map we have revolutionised the RF gameplay almost as much as the mod will itself. The beta testing will be just as though playing a normal game. We are not looking for people to have to look at everything in fine detail. We just want to test out how the gameplay will pan out. During the game as well I will be making a video to release to the community to show people some of the features of the new map and mod. We think that the beta including map will be roughly 6-8 megs in a .rar file . 10mb in a zip if people would prefer. If that is an acceptable filesize.. then welcome aboard please pm me your e-mail. Testers will be e-mailed when the mod is available for download and will also be given the beta password to open the .rar file. So far we have four testers and we have two slots left for the beta. The Mod is now acceptable for the beta and can be downloaded in rar format from this link. www.hatchett.e7even.com/alienated/alienated_beta.rar The rar is encrypted and all beta testers will be given the password to open the file in an e-mail/private message. It is not too late though we still have 1 testing place left. If you would like to be the tester. Post in this thread and then IM me your e-mail address. The server will be called ***TEST*** and should be easy to find as it is the only server to be running the alienated mod. The server should go up around 7:30 and it never hurt anybody to be early.
