That's about it though. Valve's level design is in another league, as are their story telling skills among others. Halo has a great storyline, while HL2 is basically just shoot your way through..with a few puzzles here and there. Post 1 / 1 i've never posted here before, but i must say, this is not a fair poll as it is posted in the HL2 section. in my opinion, H2 and HL2 are different, it is much easier to just go around mates and pick up a controller than taking your PC with you to a LAN party. even so, HL2DM isn't as fun as H2's vehicle jacking fun game design. that is multiplayer-wise. in single player, HL2 is much better, (the story aside) the way it is told and the levels are much interesting. Halo2's levels are just abit repeative, though fun to play in Coop mode, but felt lonely when played by myself. but since the title is Halo and Half Life, Halo will be better, not only because of the AI, also because of the ground breaking vehicle combat and the huge fun of MP. HL was fun, but it wore out just as HL2. the only reason i have got both HL and HL2 installed is purly for the mods, which are another entry. mow123   Posted 8th Oct 2005 4:55pm L4Y Member Post 29 / 98 Half life is better than halo but unreal is better then half life! I think that half life had to little of game play (I probly say that cause My comp crashes when I try to play hl2 online but cs works fine)**new since on of the patches It dosen't crash any more but still... My ram sux!!! I'll have a poll in genral topics to see who the winer is!
