Every so often, a bug would occur which would leave us unable to fire. If you are a mapper, you may know this problem. It's when you go out of the level, you can't shoot. The muzzle lights up but no sound plays and no shot is fired. The only weapon that works is the flamethrower. Anybody else got this bug? I got this bug on both Viper3 and frag4fun. We were perfectly inside, but the game behaved like we were outside. I'd been shooting my pistol and then the bug happened... I reloaded and it disappeared - for everyone Apparently this bug only happens on popular servers... All weapons behave as if you're out of the level area. No sound, spastic muzzle flash, no ammunition used. The only weapon that was virtually usable was the flamethrower so everyone was using that. I don't know the cause of it but I know that some servers haven't experienced it. I don't know what to think. Someone has made a server jamming mod which basically lets you throw loads of mines which makes all weapons not work, except flamethrower. Only retards wanna do this, so look out for people using it. Being one or the other produces different circumstances. Being a glitch it can trash the fun of any server, if it's a modification it will have the same effect but limits itself to versions 1.2 and below. I wouldn't accuse anyone of creating it, all I know is there's going to be a work-around to prevent this from ever happening again, that is if people know what's best for the game. My dA
