Hi,
i was reading PU (Power Unlimmited) and i readed that the God Of War game is forbidden in germany ?!? Man, that is totally stupid. Ok, if it only may be selled over 16 or something! But man ! Forbidden ??? Its such a great game! (No. i dont mean the sex !) People ARE goin 2 buy it online anyway. i think its totally stupid !
What do you guys think ? |

However I dont have any problem with a game being forbidden, yes people will buy it online anaway. so there isnt much of a problem.  |

Yes there is. People that are 2 bewared for uuhm (how do you call it in english ???) uuhm piracy ???? Dont know how its called ! but i think you know what i mean ?
i mean that people buy and dont get the item.

When people want something they will usually do some research, unless they are wiling to be completley helpless to themselfs and not 'want' to learn how to do whatever it is they need to do to achieve what they want.
On second thought, you should want to learn how to spell a bit better, because using the number 2 in place of "to / too" gets annoying and shows that you arent very bright.
However i take it you arent english but still you should stop using the 2's...  |

hay the God of War game isnt the only Forbidden game, Yea it is stupied banning it its only a game and it got good graphics.
There is also Man Hunt that has been basicly been banned 4rm the hole world almost (i want to get my hands on it you go around killing people and u get points 4 the way u kill them). Then in some places in Austrila XXX BMX has been banned.Then also Greece tried to ban Gaming (in PC Poweplay #80 December 2002),that goes from Video Arcades, PC's (home) handhelds.
its stupied but whos gonna stop all of this.no one hopfully |

Yeah well i have heard before that some games are forbidden in germany due high violent content so I wonder if GTA:SA is not.
This is mainly because of some freak did make hes school to shooting range and finaly killed him self. (this why CS got negative reputation in germany) |

There are tons of games censored or even forbidden.
Red Faction 18+, no blood, fading corpses (after 2 seconds or so). Somehow, this may be a advantage on slower comuters. And you don't get confused by all the bodies lying around 
I think it all began with Duke Nukem, Doom, Hexen, Quake and all that.
Games with no point, ..killing people only for fun with no sense usually will be forbidden in germany.
Doom3 almost was, parents complained, extension pack forbidden.
Painkiller? Don't need to talk about it.
Heard something about GTA SA, kill people on the street gives you money, in the german version not.  |

Actually there is a video game law in Germany: YOU CANNOT KILL PEOPLE. You can kill zombies, monsters, flying toasters, anything but people. So, no, for you hopefuls, you'll never find a grand theft auto 3 or above in German (CJ speaking german! Ich willst kill du! hahahaha! Though that would make a good radio though. NENA RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) |
