I have been working for my by adding more weapons. But no keeps happening something very weird. Every time I get weapon added propely (it should appear ingame) newly made weapon and one of originals has vanished. Reson to this is unknown to me since everything is as it should be in table files. But for some reason there aren't all weapons.

IF someone knows a clue it would be helpful. Since I am not hitting my head vainly into rock since there is a method to add weapons to RF I am just missing last detail.

EDIT now is only shoulder gun going miss. and only from list(why?) so I am closing in with solution.

Perhaps is has to do with the total number of faces in the weapons, I assume RF has a max number it can throw around...

nope, i know exactly what is going on.

If you had read the top of the tbl file in the notes (or somewhere around there) The game's max weapons is 16, including vehicle, bot, and player specific weapons. if you add more than 16, things will start dissappearing. so the only solution you have is removing one and adding one. or completley replacing one.

Nice shoot d2k unfortunately max player weapons are 32 and max total weapon 64.

And I got piture that proofs that i got 26 weapons in total showin down in selection menu my furymod cdc so take A GOOD look at there and don't talk on things you know nothing.

D2k knows nothing? He's probably one of the most well versed in RF tables... my friend, I would not talk on what thou knows of nothing.

well you got me with the max overall weapons, but that still doesn't change the fact you can use more than 16 player weapons, I havnt messed around with rf in a while so im a little bit rusty but at least i know the extent of what RF can handle.

however, if you can somehow 'improve' the RF engine like you claim you can in your CDC, then let me know so i can test your findings myself.

By the jumping zimpanzees I don't belive this.

Anyway I definetly gurantee that I can put more than upto 32 working player weapons into RF since this is said in mod tutorial in mods directory, however I don't know what is that talk about 16 limit with cycle and pref positions since they don't give me problems anyway.

And so far I am not going to give away any of tablefiles just because someone wants to see whats wrong in them.

I am working for solution on my own and among those who I can thrust.

And still I am hoping that dude who wrote all these files for first time would contact me again. I en thrust that he can proof hes identity if he contacts me.

You can have more weapons than only 16 in Red Faction, yes.

And yes, don't talk so bad about D2k.
There has just never been a point of having so many weapons in Red Faction because that'd need new items (or multiple weapons by one item)
So if you are going to make a total conversation (or how its called) you can do that. But not just for messing around and creating new cheats.
Eko now has 25 weapons. They all work.

Be careful what you do in the tables, for example don't remove the not so important special weapon modes (The 12mm hangun has a undercover handgun for example, if you remove this you may get in trouble. Same with submachine gun. There will be a bug with the rail gun, it is all very hard to understand..but there are bugs then)

You'll have to modify pc_multi fpgun and weapons.tbl
I don't know what exactly your problem is..perhaps I helped u a lil

Well i know if a texture is not properly made or edited it will not load properly and you will not see the weapon/charactor. Ussally you need alpha channel basicly select all and then make every thing visible.

Yeah well thanks so much redfrog I didn't knew those things.

If eko mod has too more than 15 default weapons maybe you could help in this, since person who originally coded these tables for me has vanished like fart to sahara desert.

Also I have found small very cute details from tables which full meaning is still a bit unclear to me atleast.

Anyway I don't know how many has realised that default shotgun has quite oddly hardcoded default primary attack to be dualshot all the times.

Okay I will stop that but still I don't want to hear that load of crap that red faction cannot support more weapons. For second yes I am working toward TC with my mod, but it has been jammed to lack of modelers :C.

PS. The dude who wrote originaly table files for my mod, could change functionality of guns just chacing ammo types ... and list goes on So until proofed otherwise I will keep him most talented table editor ever.

EDIT: Allright all you monkies the game is over the issue is solved and so ON. With tip of red frog I finaly managed to kill last of bugs in my mod so I can truly start to build base table files for my mod.
