Hey guys i got a problem i got a Panasonic 1.44 Floppy Drive and it's not workin everytime i started the computer it goes busy non stop and it won't appear on the My Computer screen. I got Windows Xp SP1 and anybody got suggestions [Power Cable,Floppy Cable?]

Don't bother with floppy's .... get a USB flash drive.

check out if it says something in your autoexec.bat about not starting your floppy drive.

It could be the cable itself. I've had one go out on me, it drove me crazy. It showed up in Windows Explorer (my computer ) but I couldn't access it until I changed the cable. Then again if that doesn't work, you can always take the cable back and try to replace the floopy itself. Both are fairly cheap and aren't hard to replace.
I guess that's true... floppy's can be quite useful.
My "memory drive" also serves as an MP3 player

I know what u mean but floppys are good since schools only most of the time have crappy arse comps and run only on floppys and cds though floppys are cheaper + i took out the power since it's been driving me nuts!
Well i got a IBM 32MB Flash Drive Found on the road but no data inside but i use it for my Winamp Mp3 Player to connect to other ppls pcs to listen on
