Why are you keyframing a air brush anyway?
If you mean move through another brush and 'cut' it in real / game time then no, it's not possible. |

mabye make it so the brush u want cut is already in 2 pieces (in red, duh) and have it timed so when the air brush touches it, it will seemingly break in half?
i have no idea what i just said |
Hey kids! It's me! Where'd you guys get those sharp looking knives..... |

its like a cylinder thing with a bridge going through it, with the outside of the cylinder moving around the bridge, i need to beable to have a door at the end of the bridge pierce the air brush mover |

try this, make a map with just a huge 50X50X50 box, then press home, then make a cylinder air brush with the player start in it, then put that cylinder on a keyframe and have the trigger door 50X50X50, then go play it, the air brush moves with u inside it. |

i supose the 50x50x50 box is an air brush too
How do you know your cylindrical airbrush moves, it's invisible if it's in another air brush? |

As I said in my post RF doesn't calculate any 'brush cutting' in real time ( except for geo-mod ) so there is no way you can tell if your simple air brush is moving, because it can't interact with anything.
Perhaps a portal airbrush could used moving into some water to prove/disprove any movement? |

if you make a huge air box, then make a smaller air cylinder with the player start in it, you can see only the keyframed air brush from inside it |

I think he means that he has made a solid brush with an air brush inside it, but when he rigs it up to a keyframed group, the "uncarved" air brush turns solid.
You need to carve the air brushes out of yuor solid brushes before you make the group. To do this, select the solid brush and the air brush in brush mode and hit the Carve button. You can then delete the air brush. Do this for all the air brushes you have in your mover. You will be left with one solid brush that you can add to a group and give it a keyframe no problems. |

No, he's right. I tested it. Even thou i don't see what it can be used for?
When you create an air brush inside a bigger air brush and make it a group and keyframe it, you get... Something weird.
A mover that appears solid except the faces/sides than are the closest from you don't appear (if you look at them from the outside). So you can go through them and get inside the movers where you are locked. No way to go out (or see through it) but you indeed move along with the mover. If you shoot a rocket on the wall from the inside of the mover, you won't be killed by the explosion because the rocket will blow up outside the mover.
In general mappers don't make air brushes inside of airbrushes though. |

i don't know for the door but you can be pushed outside the air brush mover by a solid brush.
If your mover has a solid brush on its path, the player on/inside the mover won't go through. He will be pushed out. |

i might try that but i still would like to know if you can make a air brush go through a air brush mover, what i have as of now is just set the mover to no player colide so that you cant see the door but u can go through it |

I wish you'd explain a bit more clearly what you want exactly.. even your description of the Ripley's Believe it or Not was incomprehnsible..
Come on, in simple plain English, why exactly do you want an air brush to move through an air brush?
Or do you want an opening in the end of the tube that is air?
Otherwise how can we help? |
