[Forum Rules]   Back to Forum Thread List DVL_IAC   Posted 11th Jul 2005 8:29pm L4Y Member Post 424 / 1417 hmm on some installers I get this error and both options cause the installer to close... what does the error mean? and how can I get around it because I want to install this program and others that give me the same error... *Note: Im running windows xp: home eddition with sp2... on my other comp with xp home sp1 I don't get this error when installing the exact same thing * EDIT: you'll have to click the pic cuz l4y messed up the proportions... I get this error when launching 3DS MAX. What you do, is search your PC for "autoexec.nt" Then, place the file from WHEREVER it is into "C:\WINDOWS\system32\" If it's already in there, then, well...
