I got a question about how to disable picking up some Pick-ups like Super Armor and Super Health. Is there a way to do that while letting other people join?

I've tried editing the items.tbl file in the table.vpp, it disables them, but then no one else can join...

Yes. Someone once made a server-side mod. I can't remember who it was or what the file is called, so maybe someone will be a kind person and post a link.

Note: It also disables fusion and HMG.

I see, I see, thanks you two. I downloaded it, and i guess its because i placed the items.tbl in the wrong .vpp file. Thanks again for the quick replies

ya any changes you make in the ui kills laz ban. thats why u should more or less only use that when ur hosting a server and you dont want noob stuff picked up

Hm, well isn't there a mod that runs beside server that disable "noob" stuff? I heard there was but I can't seem to find it.

Whipping up a simple full mod would be easy, but not ideal... as everyone joining the game would need it. Server side is really the best. Just run LazyBan 1.2... there isn't huge differences, and it lets you get into your own dedicated then.

Also, you never said if you wanted fusion and HMG left... if so, you'll have to just make another removing super's... or replacing them with normal, that'd be ideal. Then where the super is or whatever, there will just be a normal health... or you can place whatever else you want there.

Server side, you can make some real interesting mods if you wanted to mix up gameplay. Just switch all the weapon properties around... poof! All of a sudden all the weapons are in different places in the map, and nobody knows where to get them... or you could make them all fusion, or all rail, and change all the ammo to the correct type... then you wouldn't have to download all those rail maps... just play normal maps with a rail-server-side mod... should work just right!

Hey thats pretty nice, why hasnt anyone replaced all the fusions and hmg with other weapons or pick ups? or..maybe i misread it and its because it requires everyone to have the same file.. any ways where is that side server mod? sounds pretty nice
