Lazyban has nothing to do with running a server. It is run on client side. You do need the rcon password from the server admin/owner though. |

I had it for a while, but if i start it, there happens something with my screen. I cant c the map properly, i c the skybox half ! I have the same problem with the spectator thing !  Any1 has a clue y this happens ? |

It can do a lot more also. It is very stable (compared to RF 1.2), holds the no CD hack, ease of banning (thus its name, since you use letters to ban people, useful for modders with crazy symbols in their names), and best of all, allows you to view all version servers (1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3). I'm not sure if it keeps the anti-crash patch or no-team-green patch, but even if it doesn't, it is very easy to download and apply them.
One of the major reasons modders are still around (aside from them being complete <censored>), is that people don't patch their RF clients and servers. If everyone would use Lazyban 1.3 (I hear talk LB 1.4 will be released soon, if not already), the anti-server-crash patch, the no-team-green patch, and a few others, modders would drop to nearly zero. However, this is only if EVERYONE uses them, clients and servers alike. |

nah i dont trust it, never have 
so i dont use it, when ever i run my "The Simpsons" server open for all to use i just ban IP's |

I haven't used lazyban ever since I have mainly played on servers where is admin present, or on server with on my machine.
However there has been ocurances when I would liked to have LB since names with set of marks in their name can't be kicked easily. |

Same here but I don't use Lazy Ban 130 any more. I only use Lazy Ban 120. It's also the only Icon I have to launch the game on my Desktop. It's just a lot easier to ban a cheater, especially when they have other characters in their name.
You don't need to run a server to run it but like stated above, you do need to have rcon. I usually only play on servers that I have rcon or I know the host is there and he can ban a cheater. Being in a game and having a cheater show up isn't fun, it's annoying. I've read in other threads how people handle cheaters (they gang up on him/her). That gets old pretty soon and some of them rather enjoy the challage of multi players going after him/her... |
