You must enter your routers setup from your internet browser.
Then you must "forward" or open the port or range of ports you intend to use within the Red Faction Server Assist program.
For instance, if you determine to use port 7755, then you must open or forward that port from within your routers setup screen.

You must also know the Servers DHCP address as assigned by the router.
It should be something like 192.168.1.100, 101, 102, etc etc depending on the number of PC's under your router.

If it's 192.168.1.100, then you must go into the Port Forwarding screen of your routers setup and then enable 192.168.1.100 by placing a "check" mark by that dhcp address. Also you must type in the port range you want to open to the public. If you only want one port open then the port range would be listed the same (i.e.:7755) in the "From" and "To" range boxes in the setup screen.

The protocol is unimportant. In the same setup screen where you are forwarding the port(s) you intend to use for your server, just select
"Both" in the option block where you have the option of selecting "UDP" or "TCP". This will work fine.

What's the name of your server? DM, TDM, CTF?

Yea i recently did a port forward but when i create a server it is not seen in the server list ... anyone who wants to play in my server needs to add the IP manually.

BTW i am on a network and my Modem is connected to the HUB which is connected to the 2 PCs
