When are new Red Faction files be posted on L4Y?
Some time ago it was on tuesdays and thursdays or sundays
Its long ago since I've uploaded my files.
I think it must be the lack of files, you post only one news a week? Or even less?
It's not written down anywhere.... just aksing  |

it always either tuesday or friday....depending on how many files are submited, as to if there are 2 or 1 updates per week |

In a few minutes to a few hours. If you are worried about the file you submitted with the fix. It's been replaced already. I didn't add it to the site again. I just replaced the existing copy. No point in having two versions of basically the same team. I would have just reposted the fixed version but you had some reviews and if I delete it, you would have lost those reviews. I just felt that you earn those reviews with your GREAT work.
Now let me do my job, which is going to be a PAIN IN THE B-L-A-N-K! |

I have been given way too much power on the new site. If I want, I can censor the word filter.
BTW the new maps are up. I just need to do some screen shots for the ones that didn't have one and do a upload page for those pesky split RFU4 map packs. Since Wizard didn't do it.  |

I don't believe a review can be changed once posted. Glad to hear you got the problem fixed though, And if the guy isn't holding the gun above his head any more. Than I would be willing to change the review, allthough i don't believe its possible. maybe someone can ad a line to my review stating that the problem is fixed. |

I did add a line:

AVRiL UT04 Weapon Model: A client side weapon model mod. This is a client mod, that means you don't have to start RF with a mod to play it. You can join in any server and play with this changed model.
Just put the VPP in the multi folder, thats it!
There are NO CHEATS in this mod! The "Shoulder Cannon" has been changed to the AVRiL Rocket Launcher, an Onslaught Weapon of UT2004. There are new animations, sounds, textures a new VFX missile and this model in the mod file.
Have fun!
I have released another weapon which replaces the Shoulder Cannon, the Tormentor. You can only use one of them at the same time. |

Oh my god, only 12 CENSORED downloads for the new mod.
I work my CENSORED off and nothing comes back.
Who wants new mods? Nobody.
Why u always cry for eko1.0...

Looks like the default character (riot guard?) is using the animations which I've made. I forgot to test the default characters in multiplayer. I think it's all CENSORED up because of that, never thought of it.

Ok REDFROG i have Downloaded all your weapon models and they are very very good but i did not download the charcter modeles as you mentioned in the blurb that it has a modified UI file and for a client side mod i will not use as i can not run RF 1.3 anymore. In light of your other achievments i am sure that it is very good and extremely detailed.
Its nothing against you or your skill (for me anyway) |

So is it only because of the tables you have to put in the ui.vpp?
I don't think so. I think I can release a version without the table files, but don't know if it's worth the work.
I've got to get rid of that really bad bug anyway. |
