When I click on Multiplayer it says Update is available, click OK to exit game and download update. So I clicked OK and it downloaded. Now when I try to start the game it says it can't find the CD........ CENSORED is up with that?? Seriously though... you dont have anything like a virtual drive like demon tools or maybe nero virtual drive running do you? Some games dont work when one is running. It works on some pcs, on others theres just no way of ever ever ever getting it to work Least it seems that way I think on my old 1.4 pc with my geforce fx5200 i got about 5 FPS Even with everything turned down and after editing stuff with notepad to take away effects. Oh and I just noticed..... Doing manual patches work.. I got patches up to 1.07....... And it still says there is an update, however I have been reading the gearbox site and it says that HaloPC has trouble on some WinXP SP2 pcs and and 256MB vid cards........... Well, HaloCE worked until it got that latest update as well All I can do is play SP... I guess I will just hold on to the disk for my server pc...... Post 4 / 4 well i got the game for free online and the full version .. but i wont tell where .. and the same problem happened to me.. i updated it to the newest version 1.4 i think.. and it asked me for CD... but i got the NO CD CRACK and everything went well now im playing halo for free (full version) w00t.. sobe    Posted 7th Jul 2005 1:37am Post 492 / 3194 *HINT* That's what I meant by "friend" Bittorrents roxxors.
