Anyone see them on Live 8?
Pretty good i thought, first time together in all those years, seems like they have been playing together all the time the way they played last night.
Sadly pink floyd probably wont be making a proper come back.
But theres a band called "Think floyd" a tribute band who are amazingly good. I know the singer and basist (well on msn anyway  ) and ive been to a couple of shows.
Anyone thats a fan should make an effort to see this band in action.

Cruddy I missed them which is suprising cuz I heared like the entire rebroadcast waiting for Bon Jovi LOL. I will see if i can hear them today. |

Shame about most of the other groups...
Putting the goon from the beatles on first and last is just CENSORED .. but meh.
I see bon jovi and he wasnt actually that bad seeing as i dont like his music normaly.

Very good band, my all time favourite.
I think David Gilmour should front them for another 20 years, sod that old fart Roger Walters.

Wow Skiprat you were right Think Floyd is sweet. They sound just like Pink Floyd, and I'm a huge huge fan. I was pissed off they did the concert, but only because I wasnt there. I dont know why they couldnt have just done it in my backyard.  |

Well they are not to my taste but that doesnt matter.
What i mean is he said he wouldnt be involved at all unless he was given top billing. Which is very selfish.
He thinks himself to be better than pinkfloyd... which is wrong specially as it was the first time pink floyd were on stage together in 24 years!
He was on first, during the show, and he ended playing last.
im not sure of the full time, but roughly he played for over an hour, and pink floyd had 4 songs.

The proof of pudding is how much their record sales went up! 2000% i heard! and the who were close to that number!
Debating whether to go to REM on saturday in hyde park, a guy at work is trying to sell his tickets, seems that he isnt keen on going into london anymore! ill be buggered if the terrorists are going to stop me from living normally! Just annoying that i'll have to walk from euston to charing X when i go to my mums house tomorrow (and that i have to go the long way cos the road i'd normally walk down got blown up with a bus!) Oh well what can you do! |
