I think overall the released mods have been flawed or released before final finishing. Most of their makers have apologized because of the time constraints and/or learning curve that leaves some parts less satisfactory than others?
As a mapper/prefabber I have probably wasted over a year myself just reworking scale. 3rd person games have their own scale issues and its difficult to make it right.
Add to that Character modeling/animations, weapons, sound, particle design, textures and you really need a committed team to complete a worthwhile project.
M:I - New Dawn had truly poetic moments. The glass cutting cutscene just one of many. I did think the Graphic Novel aspects were missed.
M:I before Tom Cruise was more of a team effort (its in the intro)
So in hindsight, the GN could have made reference to M:I team members.
The GN is what makes MP's characters for good or bad so memorable? *G*
