Post 1 / 3 its not entirely immpossible to have melee weapons in ut2k4. ChaoasUT2, the mod for ut2k4, has melee weapons, and so does The Soulkeeper mod for ut2k4 (which is in beta form btw)so makeing a lightsaber seems possible to me. Post 1 / 9 Hey thats a bloody good idea a lightsaber, why does someone not, (and not me as I don't bloody know how and/or can't be bothered) reskin the SHield gun a bit and make it shoot out a sort of link gun effect but a bit straighter, pouf instant lightsaber, instant being in comparison to the trillions of years that have expired in the universe. Not forget that the shield gun is a pretty close range weapon, however the base grounds for a lightsaber is possible. ALL YOU WEAPON MODDERS OUT THERE WE WANT A LIGHTSABER! It already has the animations.
