I used to be able to download to my heart's content but now since the site change the download system is inadequate cause i can't use getright anymore....not everybody is able to download a huge file in a small amount of time. and some do need a download manager to get the big files because of slow internet.
why in the hell was all the download system changed?
Worked fine for me before now i can't download.
some people will just move on to similar website i guess because of this...that is the only thing i hate of the website...everything else is cool and well done.

I know I feel your pain I use to always download from this website now I cant because of the damn download system I CENSORED have 56k it gets on my nerves now I cant use DAP to download big files  (hint hint )................. so people who work on this site please change it....   *hint hint* |

An aggressive way to put it, but that's pretty much true...however, I also have dial-up and have to use an annoying download manager, and I got downloads to work by doing this:
1. When it says "Download is ready!", right-click on the link and go to Properties.
2. Copy the URL of the file.
3. Open the download manager and use that URL to start a new download.
4. When it finishes, you must do one more thing because of the new system. Find the file it downloaded, and add ".zip" to the end of the filename (or ".rar" if it is a RAR file, or ".exe" if it is an application.) Now, Windows realizes what kind of file it is, and it should open correctly! Hope that works for the rest of us 56K-ers... |

Dap opens up more than one connection at once - thus ruining the speed for everyone else, thats why it doesnt work 
Seems a bit wrong someone on 56k taking up say 5 download spaces...  |

it seems that i cant dowload some thing eighter
it needs some kind of user name end pass...

Ok first of I tried downloadin stuff with out a download manager and its either the file doesnt work because the connection is so slow and or it takes to long. Two SkipRat before this change for the website I have been using DAP and there hasnt been any problems and such. Not all of us has high speed internet. 
ps..... I already have known the reason why DAP wont work "Dap opens up more than one connection at once - thus ruining the speed for everyone else, thats why it doesnt work" DUHHHHHHHH |

I am also having the "user name and pass" problem, but I really can't download without a manager like DAP...my Windows downloader is messed up or something, it doesn't open when you click on a download link. I may have to give up downloading from here until someone changes the download system (again). 
The multiple connections thing with DAP should not be a problem though, because if you go into DAP's properties->connection, you can set it to "normal speed" and it will only make one connection instead of four. |

Check your internet properties it has been disabled somewhere.
Do not expect the download system here to change much. |

nice. I didn't know there was such a thing.
Internet Exploder is probably the cause of many problems. It doesn't download properly for example when your cache is full. |

"Internet Exploder"? That doesn't sound like a very safe browser. Actually, I'm not using Explorer, since it is pretty much the most security-free browser in existence. I have enough trouble with viruses using AOL.
It probably isn't really a "Windows downloader", more likely it is AOL...but it could also be Explorer running itself. |

A Download manager that works fine, that fits into the site rules by opening 1 connection? I have it. its called "OPERA"!
Opera contains an inbuilt download manager it allows you to pause, cancel resume downloads. all in a netaly tabbed window. you can have several downloads going at the same time!

i used to be able to get everything from here infact abut 85% of my stuff came from this site and now i cant get CENSORED CENSORED happend this is really bad |

If you already know the reason why it doesnt work.... Why ask?
Its changed because each day this site is getting more and more people downloading from it, All basicly funded by one person (garner).
What would you rather.... No "DAPS" or a nice subscription fee for you to download ?
And the classic "not everyone has high speed internet"
