I have tried to download mods on red faction, and none of them work. The mod tutorial makes no sense to me, and I need someone to help me or give me step-by-step instructions for a mod. If anyone is willing to help me, I would be very grateful, thanks.

What mod is it your trying to run?

If its a cheat mod you can forget about getting any help here.

No cheat mod, just something I wanted to use for fun in single player, that's all.

It's a starwars theme thing

The Star Wars TC Beta? To get that to run follow these instructions:

1. save the "StarWars" folder to C:/games/RedFaction/mods

2. start RF til the little launcher thing pops up (with Play, Settings, Update, etc. on it)

3. click on "Setup"

4. Go to the Misc. tab

5. type -mod starwars in the command line there

6. hit OK

7. Start RF and enjoy
