Seems to me that somebody might have altered their game by trying to add a weapons table to another .vpp that was placed in another folder. 
That's the only time, I've seen that error. 
If that is not what happen then I have no idea  what is is then. |

i think its a problem with my game because i cant join any dedicated servers  only regular ones,and i know i didnt change any setting either.so i dunno? |

I would say it is a corrupted ui file, you could delete the ui and run a reinstall or get someone with a clean ui and copy it to replace the one you have. Seen similar strange errors and that is usually the trouble |

In that case:
1. Save(back-up) your maps that are in the multi folder.
2. Unistall the game(Red Faction ).
3. Reboot.
4. Delete your main Red Faction folder which is located here: C:\games\RedFaction(including all files in it).
5. Reinstall the game.
6. Move the maps back into the multi folder.
7. Right click on the icon from which you start the game and choose proprties.
8. Check the back that says "Run in Windows95/98 Mode".
9. Update the game from the start up menu.
10. Join a server that has the maps that you have.

My game crashes often. I use lazyban, but I don't see how that could be messing things up, because it never used to. Only since about a year ago. Anyways, sometimes in between maps it will just boot me "because your data is incompatible" or something like that and then I can't re-join the game for the same reason. I don't know what the hell has gone wrong, but I have a copy of somebody else's ui so I can just copy it into the RF folder when this happens. Just curious as to if anybody knows what the heck is going on? |

Why would you need a copy of it. Have you been playing with your UI file? You know Red Faction View is up again and they have a clean 1.20v UI file.HMMMM Here is a thought, how about I upload mine to this site. I know it's clean as I never touched it. Have you been using RedFrog Assualt or mini gun modifications? If so then that coulb be the cause of it. I know I go the same errors you were when I didn't add the files to the UI file that he wants us to use. Well those are my thought and the reason why I removed the Assualt Rifle(AK47mod) and minigun(P90-Weapon). |

No the only time I opened my ui.vpp was to get the hud.tbl for the >CB^S>HUD. I have a copy of it because as I said:

So after a few re-installs, I asked somebody with a fresh install on a new PC to hook me theirs so that I didn't have to re-install RF every day. This way when it screws up I can just copy and paste it.
I've been using the P-90(and added the >CB^S>logo ) for awhile but I was having this problem before that. Could it be from another weapon? I have a mix of them. Some KA weapons, and most of RedFrog's. |

Why don't you do this. Try playing the game without those modifications and see if the problem still accurs. Then if it doesn't then it has to be one of those weapons. Which you should add one by one, until you find the weapon/s modification that is causing the problem. THEN after all that is done, post the results here. |

Dang well that's gonna take a while. I'm usually playing for at least an hour before it crashes. I'll give it a shot though but who knows... sometimes it doesn't crash. It's a little hit or miss.
I'm thinkin' it's one of the KA weapons though, cuz I was having this problem way before I downloaded the P-90. Has anybody ever had problems with those weapons? |
