3rd Person Shooters is the ghetto!

This new design makes it unlikely anyone other than a Max Payne devotee even knows that a Max Payne community once existed!

Why divide first person from third person?

I love my CDC but its pointless to expect anyone to even visit the 3rd person forums.

Please change the First Person and Third person to just Shooters?!?

If you need to expand add something like Sim, Adventure or Model Railroading!

Dividing Max Payne from the rest of the community will certainly kill any chance for it to be relevant here at Levels4You in the future
aw, its fine like it is, the community either uses it or it don't. Now if they can only get the staff to not post game specific news as general news all the time *LOL*

I actually agree that it was better when all the games were together. I don't think we really need the FPS and TPS sections.... it could all just be one like it was before.

Its seperated like that because there are more sections on the way.

The first category created on this new codebase was MMO, its just currently closed off.

We're seperating the games because its easier to control that way.

Ahhh cool. What MMO(s) are you planning on having a section for? Something new coming out or something that's already out?

Actually as I get use to the new site I like the publish or perish challenge MP has as its own little simgle player island.

Well, both FPS and TPS have their own strengths and weaknesses. TPS allows you to have wider view of everything but sometimes it can be designed so that it gives the players awkward view of camera angle, making it hard for them at times Take Resident Evil: Code Veronica.

FPS is a little nicer but it has lesser FOV and maybe it looks old kinda like describing how old racing games can be when all it is, is an image of a car with some animations on it.

TPS was once considered a way of 'cheating' on those CS days, however, it would be nicer if the developers can combine both TPS and FPS together.. imo
