HIGH all. i just wanted to let ya all know of my experience on this server.  needless to say it wasnt very good. all started off well enough. was having a good game on RTSnikatnite. in the last few minutes of the match i was well ahead of everyone else on the server, and they decided they wanted to show one of their clansmen the delayed mover effect of riding on or in the blimp. NO KILL was called, and all agreed. no problem.  well, as time drew on i began getting bored of waiting, and began drumming into the air with my PR.(i never use it to kill in combat, becuse to me its alot like glitching.((plus i cant aim for pi$$ that way  ))) so there i am wasting time, when one of the LS clan types out no drumming. i respponded promptly, and asked if they were talking to me. i got no response that i recognized to be directed towards me. and no longer drummed just to be sure. a few moments went by, and one of them landed beside me, and began firing upon me, i turned and killed him(not drumming), and the match ended. as the new map started one of the LS members said"no drumming. please leave." i quickly responded with "who? me?" "yes, you." was the response. to which i replied " i wasnt doing it during gameplay, and i dont think anyone should, during seriouse play." then i began typing another response, which would have read like this "i will not do it at all if that is the rule of the server,i was only doing it into the air to pass the time". but...half way through typing that message i was kicked from the server, only to find when i tried rejoining to plead my case, that i had infact been banned. 
i ask you. does this seem to you like proper ediquite for an R-CON holder? i dont think so. i know that anyone can ban anyone from their server, for ANY reason, and if infact it was HIS server, then more power to him. but it just dont seem kool to me to be banned for IMO no reason at all. i was only beating them ALL by about 10 frags or so, so i hope it wasnt that.
either way...until that point, i had a good game and enjoyed the other time i spent on the server i will never return to.(even if the BAN is lifted)
BTW..id just like to state, that any LS member is more than welcome on my DEDICATED server, and would ONLY be banned for modding, or for being abusive on more than one occasion.
HAVE fun playing the game that your attitudes are driving people away from.  |

its funny you should be complaining about LS servers, because they also run Viper 3 I believe, which is a ctf server and numerous complaints have been made on other forums about the same type of thing, I have been in that server when LS members have actually been running mods.... Makes you wonder eh? |

For your info L-S dosnt run viper or have fun they are puplic servers and you should post in L-S forum for that we are trying to clean it up whats players name and i will check it out |

i dont think names are needed here. i just think that the server operater/owner, should be aware of the actions of his RCON holders. ask anyone here who has played with me, and you should get the same response about my gaming ediquite. i dont mod(never have), i dont glitch(unless its for fun, not during gameplay) i dont talk smack. i RARELY ever claim modder(only if i see flying, or walking through walls) and as an RCON holder in other servers, i have NEVER kicked or BANNED an RF "player". i play for FUN. its that 3 letter word, that most online gamers these days have removed from their gaming vocabulary. |

ENM, there are alot of idiots out there who use our tags while modding to tarnish our name. I would personally boot any member from the clan who was caught cheating.
Dankone it would be useful to have the rcons name.

And as long as I have a voice within the clan you'll always be welcome in our servers
I know you wouldn't cheat and then come here to complain, it will be looked into.
And as wilde says, Viper3 and Have Fun arn't our servers. Hehe if only ours were that popular! |

I will ask all rcon holders if they had kicked you and the reason. This will not stand for someone simply trying to have a good time. Justice WILL prevail.
And yes, As Grim stated, you will ALWAYS be welcome in our servers |

I have already discussed this with sobe and informed him of the 2 players names. I hav confirmed they are actual LS members and on the tryout judging team, he was looking into it. This all happened a couple of months ago, I am aware that LS doent run Viper 3 or Have Fun but mainly LS members have rcon in both those servers |

But not L-S. I dont care what anyone says, L-S is a clan based on fun and fair play. If there is someone disrupting that, the person will be repremanded for his/her actions. You have the right to your own opinion so I'm not going to push the point any further. All I can say is that if you have a problem, contact someone in L-S or go to the forums and if its a server problem (with Viper 3 or Have Fun) go to the rcon forums. I dont see a need to flood public forums with your problems. |

This was my Server and I did ask you to stop Drumming 3 times and on the 4th I banned you. You have a right to feel the way you do as I had a right to ban you from MY server.
You do not follow rules of the server and you get banned, simple.
L-S nor I, OWNES Viper and never claim to RUN it as you say.. You get banned there you must have not followed the RULES OF THE SERVER...
Thank you for sharing your concern and I acknowledge your concern. I invite you to look at what you may be doing to get banned to truly see the issues at hand..

In my honest opinion... The more Gamesterlike thing to do would be to kick him as a warning, That would have got the message through and he would not have "violated" again. |

I agree ExoStatic. Everyone here should remember how many threads/topics were created here at L4Y due to being banned from a server which <L-S>has rcon to and/or they just detest <L-S>.
Can we please get this thread/topic closed? It is not OUR server.....
Also, ExoStatic, I think being warned more than once instead of kicking would amount to the same. If you get a warning to follow server rules in a specified server you would either follow those rules or be banned. He's lucky to have gotten more than 1 or 2 warnings.
Please request to close this topic before it gets worse than it needs to be. These threads are pointless. If you would like to be taken off the ban list please post in the <L-S>forums as posted by Commander Viper. |

honestly he has a right to be pissed, i persanly would take his side due to the fact that i beleive his story more then LS.
the factt hat only the ls clan as far as i know have the rcon for the viper and have fun servers means you more or less controls what happens there. you may not run the server but you control what goes on there.
dont get all offended because i type this its just my opinion, you guys defend everything even when it doesnt need to be defended just let it go . dankone doesnt want to play on the server any more, so for gods sake just let it go and this topic will die down |

Well there are 2 stories here. Dankone says he was asked to stop once and he did and was promptly kicked and banned. Isamu says he was asked to stop 4 times and didn't. Obviously, someone here is stretching the truth.
There's nothing wrong with these kind of threads as long as something gets resolved and it doesn't degrade into namecalling and general chaos. |
